Hmmmmm... I haven't found bleeding in this game to be any worse than the Mod. In fact I seem to bleed a bit less. At least Rags are easy to come by so you can quickly bandage yourself up. BTW, I believe it was said that the chance of you bleeding can be influenced by what you are wearing. Even a t-shirt can lower the chance of you starting up bleeding.

This is untrue. Greyout occurs because of hypoxia of the eyes. Your cones are very sensitive to loss of oxygen(you know the ones that sense color). Low blood pressure which will make you feel dizzy but might not cause you to pass out can cause this very easily. Bleeding out leads to low bloodpressure. Your body shunts bloody to vital organs if it is functioning correctly and your brain is considered one of the most important organs to the body. Brain, heart, and lungs. If the body is doing what it should in those instances(sometimes it can't) then the blood is shunted to those three vital organs. First fingers and toes will go numb, then limbs, and the eyes and ears are lower on the totem pole than the big three. It happens during CERTAIN G-forces, specifically those that force the blood into the lower extremities. The opposite happens when going into a dive or something that can force blood into the brain where people see red and they can pop vessels in their eyes. So the Greyout is still lack of blood pressure, not G-forces.

Very true, but at the same time discussion about a point can happen from two opposite views. I can discuss things with others and through that discourse come to realize they are correct or convince them of my ideas. That typically starts with, "You are wrong because of X, Y, and Z." and countered by, "Well, if Y is true then we can mitigate with W or possible introduce idea A" and so on. However, the op started out by stating his credentials on why we should listen to him(usually a bad sign of someone who is not secure enough in the actual merit of their idea they have to give it a pedigree) and then moved on at the end to state most of us will flame him just because he has different ideas thus preemptively using a fallacy to avoid discussion of his ideas on their MERIT alone. If I disagree with him I am some sort of fanboy and kiss-ass to Rocket who can't think things through. That does not lead to open discussion about an idea. It is hostile from the get go. You will notice I addressed his points then did a whole separate post on the Ad Hominem. So far the OP has done nothing to reinforce his claims or address my arguments but has continued to accuse others of attacking him, rather ironically by calling them fanboys and dismissing them.

I believe he is pointing out that someone who wants to change the fundamentals that define a specific game, probably doesn't want to actually play that game or they wouldn't be trying to do that. They actually want to play this other game that is similar, but not that game. Not having factions is a fundamental part of DayZ. The "Grind" of trying to survive, is fundamental. So on and so forth.

Not at all. Everyone is entitled to have an opinion. However, I could have the opinion that the moon is made of cheese and that does not mean the moon is made of cheese. I could have the opinion that old men wearing baseball caps drive slower than everyone else, that doesn't make it a VALID opinion. I can also have the opinion that the Vikings are a great football team, but this years stats would prove that opinion wrong.

All opinions should be acknowledged but not all of them are "valid". Being an "opinion" does not magically make something that is wrong correct.

...or we have been following the development and so have insight into WHY they went with the decisions they did as they told us way back when. We are the ones logging into the live streams and asking questions or making suggestions all along. What you fail to realize is they don't want a "Mainstream" game. That is a bit opposite of what they want.

*sigh* Infections don't just happen without you getting warnings for that half hour. Are you moaning? Does it say you have a funny taste in your mouth? Does it say you feel unsteady? Does it say you are sick in your inventory screen? You don't just get a wound, bind it, and then mysteriously drop dead a half hour later with nothing else informing you as to what is going on in this game. I mean they are sometimes cryptic, but there is always 10 to 12 warnings that something bad is happening and after a bit you can figure out what it is. You "can" get sick but it actually sounds like you are probably dying of dehydration or something else.

What other messages are you getting? There is more to it than that.

The only other thing I can suggest is fill up on water and get the hell off the coast.

No, I only bash people when they are being idiots. when someone brings up a valid concern for the game I agree with them. Food and drink is everywhere. Heck I went through a "picked over" Cherno and hit all the little tiny stores no one bothered to check instead of going to the grocery store and then church and found about 9 cans of food, several sodas, and a water bottle plus a can opener. Loot is not all clumped up in 2-4 buildings in a town now. You will find a lot more hitting the buildings with less in them because people are still int he mentality that it isn't worth it. I think I had one life where I had problems with Hunger and that was because it seemed like EVERYONE from a 10 minutes period was spawning in that little town and I just booked it out after hitting the well pump.

I've got two lives under my belt now out of like 8 where I didn't find a way to open a can and most of those lives I had a can opener. I think one I was stuck using a screwdriver. They are not rare at all. Meanwhile I've had 3 lives WITH an M4 and two with a Mosin.

I was looking for a GIF of someone hitting themselves with a door while pulling it open. I've done it when I grabbed a door I assumed was heavy and it was actually light and I put WAY too much energy into it.

How did I miss this insult? I have never server hopped in Standalone. I have switched servers because I or another friend has had difficulties with a given server, but I even posted a thread about hating the server hopping. So thank you for accusing me of that without any facts. If you run into an Axe Wielding Player you... wait for it... RUN AWAY. With a melee weapon out he will NEVER catch you and will run out of breath first. I've gotten pretty good at using melee against zombies and rarely get tagged when dealing with one of them. Two or more is a lot more dangerous but the last time I was grey it didn't matter as it was night anyway and there isn't a lot of color at night outside my flashlight cone and inside it is fairly yellowed. So as I stated, "You're doing it wrong." if you are spending 50% of your game with your vision grey. The last time I hit grey a saline bag put me right back up... which I looted off a dead player just outside Cherno, thank you.
