Boxes don't spawn in DayZ standalone. I think what happened is you looked up on the internet for health items at the hospital, and you got search results from the DayZ MOD.

My first few months of DayZ, I played on softcore servers. But I quickly became sick and tired of the bullshit kills with people peeking with 3rd person over walls or buildings that you shouldn't be able to do in real life. I always died to some prick using 3rd person to wimpy kill me. After I got tired of it I moved to hardcore where I knew the standards in gun fights would be equal, no bullshit tactics. It makes the game much more playable and immersible. In hardcore you don't have the sense of safety of "oh I can just look over these corners" or something. In hardcore, you can't do that so you are constantly on your toes if you hear someone, and you make the best of your fighting abilities. I always hear the stupid excuse of "but you can admire your character on 3rd person servers!!!". No, that is a stupid panzee excuse to be a wimpy girl. If you can't see something in first person that you can in 3rd, it's a nonrealistic tactic and the game isn't meant to be played that way.

I was making my way around NWAF, and a military zombie chases me. So I pull out my axe and I'm running in circles while swinging at him. BUT WHAT DO YOU KNOW? He fucking hits me when I'm not even in front of him and he knocks me out. Then every time I get conscious, while I get up, he knocks me back unconscious until I die from bleeding. Fucking stupid.

Day 1. I've practically been starving to death while make my way along the grass fields and houses. I plan on going to NWAF. Along the way I have found 2 cans of tuna but I seem to be getting taunted at because I can never find any source of items to open them up. I have been living off soda cans to have my "hunger" quench itself. I don't know how long this can last. Day 2. I am running low on Sodas and only have 1 left. I don't know what I should do. My vision is fading and I can't see colors well. Later: I am lucky and made my way to a tall castle, it seems on this map it is "devils castle". I have found 2 sodas here and it seems to keep my stomach happy for the time being. Day 3. I have made my way to the North Western Airbase and I am scavenging for my life for anything that can open up these cans of food. Hopefully I can find a can opener or knife around here. I tried using my pitch fork to open my cans but no such luck. Thankfully I found 3 cans of soda in some nearby police stations, and a magazine for my Sporter 22 rifle. I will try to see if there are any other cans of food and knives left for me here in the barracks. I think I heard some gun shots.... Hey what was that!?!? To be continued...

Yes, I have traveled to 2 towns, and a supermarket, but nothing was in it. Most of the houses I find have nothing in it or just a hat.

Yes, I noticed that they fixed the jitter bug when I looked in my PSO1 scope and was very happy. I'm also happy that you can see the dirt from the bullet that you proved in this video.

Yep. But every once in a while I will run into those groups at NWAF and either they will KoS me or I will kill them all due to their bad aim.

I don't really server hop anymore because I love meeting people and going on high pop servers. It seems like it's reverse psychology now. All the high pop servers at NWAF that I've been to aren't looted, yet all the servers with barely anyone is looted like a bunch of pigs ransacked the place. I guess people are scared.

The devs should just add a button on the main menu screen that says "Change Log v.46" and so on every time there is an update. It would make it so much easier for everyone to know exactly what was changed.

I just figured out this glitch yesterday with the Mosin Nagant when I had a compsensator and a bayonet. So I basically if you stick a compensator on the Mosin Nagant first, then you put the Bayonet, it allows to have both the attachments at the same time. It shows the attachment box under the gun. However, if you stick the Bayonet on first, THEN the compensator, the combo doesn't work and it won't allow both on the gun. Now what I'm wondering is if the two attachments actually stack onto each other in stats or something, or if one of the items just doesn't actually work. Even though the bayonet is useless as of now, this glitch could come in handy when you can stab people with it in the future.

I've heard of people crashing in game but I never crash in game. The only time it happens is I leave a server then the top half of the screen turns into the default screen mouse, and bottom is the DayZ mouse. Then it crashes after 30 seconds or so. Btw I killed some dude with an M4 and traded it for my AKM with a 75 mag. Worth it?

[Hardcore server] Okay so I was running all around green mountain looking for some heli crashes. After I circled it and Zeleno, I came back to the military base south of NWAF. I went into the barn near the south side of the base, then I heard a mosin shot. I circled around the whole base, then I decided to head into the police station. Guess what? Saw some dude with a M4 sitting right there, so I put him down. 1 dead. I checked his body but while I was doing that, I got M4 rounds sprayed at me through the wall or something. Then I heard a mosin shot up stairs. Saw him peek out at me, and I put 7 bullets in his brain. I thought that was all. But I was wrong. Saw another dude up there with a m4, so I sprayed him, and he died. Went up, and ANOTHER guy was there with a AKM. We both shot eachother but he died, and I only broke my leg. My screen was grey, but not blurry yet. I got all the attachments on my M4, and I was practically shaking. I ran out of the building and ran to the right side, some dude who I assume was the one shooting through the wall came out and finished me off. Killed off 4 out of a team of 5 by myself. Biggest accomplishment so far in DayZ ^_^

Deal with it. There is no reason for a suicide button because that's just a lazy way of saying "I'm too lazy to make the trip to find a zombie or some other place to kill me, so give me a free button to do it". But that won't be the only thing. People will abuse it to go to their favorite spawns.

Oh and here is another reason for gask masks: When you are in groups, you are going to be standing around people who have eaten a variety of food and haven't brushed or washed their mouth in who knows how long.

I want to see one of those stereotypical gas masks in DayZ just because they look cool Then get a combo like this:

Oh god. Go inside one of the hangars in airfields. When you go to the back, then turn to go out, YOU CANT SEE A GOD DAMN THING.

I can literally run around all day in fully populated hardcore servers, just firing off my gun at zombies. Smack dab in the middle of NWAF, but nobody bothers to run here anymore so nobody attacks me. I have all the loot to myself, can gear myself up with any gun that I want and nobody is here to stop me. Because everyone is still stuck at Berezino, and NEAF!!! Come on people, the entire map isn't just the coast. Get your lazy fingers up and make that lazy, boring ass 20 minute trip to the west side of the map because in the end it's WORTH IT. You don't die about every 5 minutes like the coast when you are on the west side. You can gear up, shoot zombies and have shits and giggles on the west side. Feeling bored? Run in the middle of NWAF and gun down some zombies, then shoot the hordes coming after you! It's all free! No secret hidden fees or sign up prices! Just take your 20 minutes out of your life and BOOM! You are in paradise! All loot for yourselves to grab. LIMITED TIME OFFER!! Having fun yet? Oh wait. That's right, nobody wants to because you just LOVE having death matches in NEAF! Am I right? YES!!!. But seriously, come to the west. #west side thugs

Yes, everything in hardcore is the same as Easy mode. Same patch, just ya know... "hardcore".
