Oh, didn't know that. It makes sense though, I assumed they were zombies since that's what they're called in the debug monitor.

Oh, thank you for your constructive criticism. I suppose all the current zombies in game just appeared out of thin air, because people turning into zombies after having been bitten or eaten alive is totally unrealistic.

If you die to a zombie, you should turn into a zombie. Players become enemies, zombies become friendlies and your only weapons are your over 9000 power fists (since there are axes in game, just give people brass knuckles to simulate melee and re-texture them into something bloody or something). Zombies are still pretty easy to kill, but it would be pretty epic to see zombie players hunting survivors.

Server name is also NYC 308. He was advertising about a helo spawn at NW airfield several times before getting pissed off and killing the entire server (he called us slowpokes too!). -
I like how DZRS members disconnect under fire. Approx 10pm pacific time on Seattle 9. You guys are pro.

I like it, only problem I've had is that a lot of zombies spawn inside the smaller buildings, and just stay there (or inside the walls of them). Sometimes even hitting you if you get close. The near insta spawns are sick, could use more numbers! -
I dunno about you guys, but I'm liking it. It is ALMOST a challenge now. Before I could crouch walk in daylight, sometimes even walking normally. Easy peesy. On my first spawn with the new patch (my guy tripped on a rock, broke a leg, and bled to death in 3 seconds), I managed to run from the coast all the way back to the NW airfield, stopping at all the grocery stores on the way up. Seriously, how hard is it? Run in one door, loot, run out the other exit... or shoot them as they wander in one at a time. I've managed to lose zombies running through houses, in forests ducking around tree's. I'm enjoying the new mechanics. EDIT: The only thing I don't like, is that the zombies spawning in buildings don't wander out yet, and a lot of them spawn in walls (hitting you through them when you get close, or flat out glitching out and dog piling you).

We had 2 other guys in the forest watching this happen, one of them managed to pop him with a DMR 3x before DarkForce disconnected.
