I'm not A big fan of it either, but we have to put into consideration how it would effect the server's performance. But yes, I do agree with you, the whole above ground base is way cooler. To be fortified within A base with A group of buddies, and to have outsiders banding together forming groups to infiltrate the base would bring A whole new element of fun to DayZ.
