    Returning player help

Just an update for anyone interested. I found some loot in a barn, dropped the dmr at the loot, picked it up again and it was no longer being identified as being an L85 AWS. I played on for about an hour or so after this while holding the dmr and all seemed to be ok.

Watched back the video i took and the top right of the screen shows the L85 AWS when i am holding the DMR! Think i`ll try dropping it and then maybe picking it up again and if that doesnt work i`ll lose it altogether.

My first post will explain but basically i haven`t played Dayz for about a year as i was playing Origins. When i left Dayz i had a load of gear including the L85 AWS. In the meantime the L85 AWS was removed from the game and for some reason it now thinks i still have it, despite the game deleting it from my inventory. This was my 1st game since 2012 on a normal Dayz server. I think i might upload the video to my youtube account overnight. I`ve a slow upload speed so dont fancy doing it, but i`ve a feeling someones going to want to see it before it gets fixed. :(

Wow, you guys are fast with replies! Thanks for the input. I was just worrying that the other people think i am cheating in some way. I was actually chatting on side chat with the guys on FR 34 when it happened. There were only about 5 of us on and i asked why it was saying that. The guy replied "saying what?" and then i was kicked. So he didn`t know what was happening either. Wonder will it update itself or if i`m doomed to being kicked every time i try to go on. At least i have the video evidence.

    Returning player help

Ok, i just tried to play there about 20 mins ago and all was well and the L85 AWS was deleted from my inventory. So i played on and about 10 mins into the game a message pops up..... "Battleye client: (private) Admin: please drop your L85 AWS!!! It is illegal!!" ..This message popped up a number of times even though i do NOT have that gun in my inventory any more. I was checking my backpack etc as the message popped up and it simply isn`t there. I have the whole thing recorded with bandicam too showing that i don`t have it. Bloody ridiculous that the gun was deleted and battleye insists i still have it. Any ideas on what to do now?
  6. Hi, I stopped playing Dayz last year and when I left the game I had an L85 thermal scoped gun. I then was out of gaming for a few months due to illness and surgery. When I started playing games again I started playing Dayz Origins and have been ever since. I did in the meantime read that the L85 thermal was removed from Dayz and after a couple of months I was curious to see if it had been removed from my inventory so I logged in for 10 seconds or so and it was still there. Tonight a friend of mine who I play origins with has asked me if we should try Dayz again but I`m wondering if my L85 is still there and if It is, will I have problems from people thinking I got it illegally somehow? Maybe even battleye will flag me as having and illegal weapon? I don`t know..Some feedback on this from people in the know would be helpful. My friend thinks I should just go in the game and drop the gun somewhere if I`m worried about it but I thought I would ask here first.
