They should of made the Alpha 60 USD, so people who really are willing to help contribute to the game progresses actually buys it. I don't understand how you feel forced to buy it, Rocket has even said don't buy it because this isn't going to be a huge plate of entertainment. First thing I did when I got on, worked the flashlight encounter first Zombie notice it was buggy, running through obstacles. Went to the Bug section reported it, but it was reported already, so I voted the original report up some more and they've acknowledged it. NOW THAT, is what the whole point of Alpha is. Constructive criticism AND bug reporting is what your intentions should be buying the Alpha game. If you want to skip all that and play a polished game wait until Beta or just wait for the Full Release. No one at least I don't care about how you feel ripped off people like you weren't supposed to buy the game, People like you just want to play the game, and that's when patient comes. Let the people who actually "help" the game contribute and let the Devs progress in their product. FYI this game isn't Day z mod 2.0 this is a fresh build, so save your comparisons for someone who cares.

I'm assuming supporter edition is the retail price for the game. So includes some goodies. I'd really hope they add a way to upgrade though.

Really feels refreshing. First person I met was in Cherno(I later found that out) I was in the new apartment buildings exploring trying to figure out where the hell I was then went into a school I believe? Saw a Beam throughout the whole building. At first I thought it was some light bug or something, but then saw him. Called out to him we explored the rest of the building, asked him if he knew if this was Cherno he told me no. Went to the roof and we were just viewing the distance, and suddenly he just fell off the roof. I cried out to him that I was coming down to get him, but he was dead. Climbed the That red tower near the grocery on the hill and there I saw it, good ol' Cherno, saw some fresh spawns in the distance cause' of their flashlights. Really amazing this game, and has so much potential. I did no research on this game nor followed it. I carry knowledge from the MOD and just learn this new game. FYI, if you bleed don't panic rip your shirt off you can use the rags! Loved that they added that.

Melee feels fluid, but the range not. Have a hatchet currently, and it has like no range, I always get hit before killing a zombie. Also following the crosshair is a bad move feels like you swing down towards the right. Can you control how you swing that I'm not aware about? Not to compare games, but No More Room In Hell has some nice melee combat, would probably fit in this game, being able to swing fast and slow.

Now this, made me laugh. I love your world play man. Although I do not play like this and don't agree with it, this is like a slip from a journal host of a total "asshole"(you ofc :D) I don't understand why people look past how good and detailed you write. What I like reading most about, is how some people can paste a mental image in your head. If you were to make a book, about your adventures with your mate I'd totally read it. Despite me playing the complete opposite it's a good read.

Me still being new, some things I've yet to figure what's right from wrong, except the more common sense ones. I'm still yet to know my way around the game 100%, but I do know how I like to play thus far. I like vanilla too much, but it has too many flaws. Most of them due to the community. On the server I regularly play on, has a nice size community and goes on a timezone rotation for day/night. Day time is chaotic which is nice, but the night time is the same old thing. DMR Gillie NV server hopping Elektro/Cherno hill/roof campers as I like to call em'. It's really frustrating to play against, and they ruin a lot of people's experiences I'm sure for the fresh spawns. My night cycle is pretty typical every night, gear up and go hunt these people. Sometimes I kill a few, but sometimes I'm too late. You kill them, good you got some nice gear. You don't, and they miss you they log off. I guess this is the issue with Public Hives eh? To sum it up, how do you guys feel about the state of Vanilla and also, any Private Hive Vanilla servers currently active? As much as I like Vanilla, from what I understand it's the players that make the server and right now, it's just more bad apples than good.

Yeah, I usually sit in the hills and wait for some Gillie sniper to pass by. Still rather frustrating, ran into two people who killed me I told them to run away(I was heavily geared recently returned from NWAF, one of them replied "I have my own server, i'll just abort if you come near". They logged shortly unfortunately. Pretty boring really, but I think it'll be harder to have a strong community in a Private Hive.

I didn't like the idea in general. You have protected gear that now no one else can get to, unless you let people have it. I like my loot not being safe. Where everything you have can be taken from you so easily. It's fresh everytime you have to re-loot stuff in towns. Can't steal a car because it's locked, what a load of crap. Some servers even make it a rule to not be able to blow them up either. That kinda of stuff doesn't appeal to me, so I stay away now. Now for you, if that's what you like by all means play it, I don't bash people on what they play, but for me it doesn't appeal me.

Dunno, logged on once to a server. Killed someone, who had some nice gear decked out, and keys to a car. Pretty much had everything i've wanted in vanilla, let someone kill me and logged. Didn't like it so much.

Well, not first experience, I died by zombies a few times trying to get the hang of the time. But my first actual kill was on a Bandit on top of the hills of Elektro overlooking the powerplant firestation. Good enough for me.

I play on a Vanilla server, but we have that option to spawn at locations, but also a choice to randomize it. I agree, Killing someone than 5 minutes later they're at at their body, or I am back at my body. Right now, I spend my time in elektro and chernos, that's all I know so I spawn there. If it was random it would force me to explore, and learn the rest of the map.

I'd get a tent and get em both! Since you have a FAL, I'd get the L85A2(I am a huge L8 fan) so a little biased. I'd definitely try and get a tent though.

People assume when they're bandits they have to be "trolls". Camping fresh spawns at a city I don't quite call that Banditry. Killed a bandit camping hospital roof, was hearing him for a while, seeing dead messages pop up, went to investigate and boom, I die. Come back, he's still there, I survive with 500 blood, wait for him to come after him to my luck a zombie dropped him and could get a jump on him. What's the point of killing unarmed people over and over again... To each and his own...

This game is badly optimized, and eats a lot of CPU. I get 100 fps Ultra on BF4 on this game I barely get 90+ in open field with most of everything normal. You can feel this game eating out your CPU. If you're on a budget, building a pc revolving this game is a bad idea because in theory you won't have the funds. You shouldn't be going cheap on a gaming rig anyways or you'll just be upgrading soonish. If you're building a pc or plan to get a laptop wait it out, there's sales. Today for instance Black Friday, then you have Cyber Monday, then the holiday sales. Be mindful, at least if your rig runs other popular games don't worry so, as to SA will be out soon(pipe dream) and hopefully it's optimized.

I play under Win. 8.1, all is good. That's all I can say tbh, i'm new myself. :P

You're telling everyone you have just as much right to post your opinion on the forum and that's cool and all, we all know by now you don't like his stories. You don't need to say it in every thread he creates. Lee has enough right to post his topics in this section telling his stories just as you can spam every thread of his and expressing your opinion. The difference is, MoDs take your actions as spam and negativity, because like I've said, we all know by now you dislike Lee and his stories.

You'll run the game fine. You'll have stable fps that's for sure. Side note, upgrade to 8.1 it's awesome.

Am I the only one that enjoys his stories? Every person has a right to play the game they see fun, of course if this was done to me(assuming I played on said server) I'd probably get mad. Gotta admit, man can write.
