I haven't played DayZ for about 30-45 days... quit cause of school / too many hackers/script kiddies/supers, and so forth... Is the game still completely infested with them? same with D/C'ers, cod kiddies, etc?

What would you consider calm? When I was playing it was common to get killed/tele'd by a hacker 2-3 times a day. :<

What's the deal with Lingor / private hives? Did Rocket give in and kinda let people do whatever? When I was playing it was illegal, and you couldn't lock your servers on the main hive, etc.

Looking for some chill people to play with, i'd prefer playing with a smaller solid core than a bunch of disorganized scrubs. I'm looking for a relaxed group of players, who know how to have fun, but also be serious when shit starts hitting the fan. If you think I might be an eligible candidate for your group, feel free to give me a trial run and get to know me before feeling like you owe me some sort of obligation, I understand if things don't work out between us. Now, to why you should want me I'm 20 years old uni student located in US EST, been playing PC games since I was a kid, mostly playing RTS like Starcraft and Age of Empires. I've played almost all most non korean grindfest MMOs, making me rather experienced in keeping my cool when things start to get hairy. I've been playing DayZ since mid may. I'm by no means a hardcore bandit or PvP'er, I kill when I have to, I don't go out of my way to kill someone. I know the ins and outs of most cities, experienced in driving vehicles ( I can fly and land a heli properly without damaging or blowing up, but i'm not the best pilot) I'm self sufficient, I find my own gear, and I don't Q_Q when I die ( I expect you to be the same), my longest life was 38 days. If I would have to define my playstyle, it would be recon/raider, i'm fairly good at finding tent camps/vehicles. I keep track of medium/large size camps treating them like crops letting them grow into a ripe fruit before I come in for the harvest. On an ending note, I have Skype/Mumble/Teamspeak/Vent, etc. If you have any questions, or feel something needs to be cleared up feel free to post it here or PM me.

Really depends on the situation, daytime group play I usually use AS50, night time DMR ofcourse. I do like using the SVD because of it's classyness though.

Fraps has the ability to record in different frame rates, which one are you using? Also, what are your PC specs, those will be a pretty big factor in how well you'll be able to record.

I think they should reduce the spawn rates on these guys, not necessarily take them out of the game. I usually find a bison, as50 and a FAL at nearly ever heli crash I find

Not a big fan of, crosshairs, range, etc, but overall one of the nicer PvP vids i've came across.

From what i've been told they don't necessarily "have the power to know where your vehicles are" but the the information is in the server logs which they do have the power to search through, it's not like a hack where it shows where every player/vehicle is at on the map.

Eh, make some crazy cool art using blood bags, bandages, morphine etc, post pics when you're done. :D Perhaps someone will see you as a visionary and free you from this terrible prison in which you're stuck in. Or you could possibly IF you have tin cans you can throw them at the window and break them.

I'm too lazy to find you the vid, but i'm 99% sure that a guy named "Sacriel" (He's a moderately popular British (?) streamer made a video on how to do exactly this. If you're unfamiliar in editing with the registry, then you definately might wanna give it some research. Edit: Nvm, was feeling generous today. ^_^

A) Block roads, force vehicles to go into grass and drastically slow down making them much easier to target. B) To troll bad players who go afk, you build tank traps / wire fencing around them C) Keep a player from being able to steal vehicles unless they have a toolbox/entrenchment kit I haven't really done any of them since the graphical glitches, but they do have a use

wat The vet uses actual game experience to get an edge over other people... The hacker uses scripts, game exploitation, etc to get an edge over other people. I DONT UNDERSTAND WHERE THIS BAD METAPHOR IS GOING.

You can prone and go under a car without dying. True story ;D well at least with under GAZs, i'd assume other cars as well.

If i'm not mistaken to get the like "best accuracy" with snipers you have to prone anyways.

Try using a program called fraps, their is a free version, but it only records up to 30 (?) seconds I believe. It's one of the more common and known ones.

I find them quite a bit, they're a good sniper rifle. Every time I find a heli crash I usually find an AS 50, even though their spawn is suppose to be rare.

I thought you died if you ejected from helis? Do you have to be up a certain height for this to work?

1. There are no friendlies, only people who wait til their is a more optimal advantage to shoot you. 2. When in cities, check the rooftops and other common sniper places, I generally move into elektro off of sniper hill, usually end up finding most of the gear I need on the bandit shooting scrubs in a firehouse. 3. Only carry what you need - If i'm going to a larger city during the day I opt out of my coyote and NVGs for an alice pack and preferably something SD. 4. If you're in a standoff, patience is usually the key. 5. If you have no NVGs and you know an enemy around you has them, chuck flares everywhere, flares rape NVGs, but also draw alot of attention
