*update* i have finally fixed it, thank you everyone for the help. i was just about to downgrade just as Zgraphz, however while i was looking around in my C drive i found a file in a hidden folder not sure if it was because am using windows 8 or not but the path is: C/Users/*Username*/AppData(hidden file had to switch hidden files on to see it)/Local/ArmA 2 OA/BattlEye with a BEClient.dll file in it, i just updated that and it fixed it. Edit: i stopped using six launcher or dayzcommander since launching them after manually updating battleye tells me that the game is not up to date and after i do update it, it takes me back to the older version of battleye. i use dayz mod beta patch to play now which seems to work fine so happy now finally i can play, thank you everyone again for the help. PS: i could post all the things i did in a list if you guys want a thread to be stickyed about this issue

ty that fixed my connection failed issue however every server i join whether i wait in the lobby for the update successful message i still get kicked after around 30 seconds. the message i get in the lobby from when i first join tells me Battleye initialized after a few seconds it tells me the update was successful but it loads the same version

*update* i have upgraded my router's firmware but i haven't gotten the chance to test if it works since i get Connection failed on 90% of the servers when using dayzcommander, i found out the only way to get around that is using the Arma2 OA beta patch.exe that is in the game folder, i will keep trying however. once again thank all for the help

tried all that but i still get the same error, i have also tried staying in lobby for battleye to update but it just telling me update successful but still loads the same version. However i will be trying to update my router's firmware next to see if that fixes it thank you everyone for the quick reply i truly appreciate it

i have tried all the "fixes" in all the other threads with the same problem with no luck so far, i have uninstalled the game more than once, tried running in admin and i have downloaded battleye manually but i still get kicked, i used to be able to play with no problems at all so i dont know what changed. i would love to have some feedback if possible. additional info: Windows 8 64 bit got the game from steam avast antivirus Ty and sorry if i am breaking any rules with this post.
