Arma 2 beta patch 105785 Causing frame drop.
KRYFIVE replied to -Se7eN-'s topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting
you are correct sir. i'm with you all the way. -
this is the cure everyone. thank me later. use dayz commander to revert back to the version of arma 2 that your server is running. example version 105785 was what i was using with major lag. however my server uses version 103419, my clan and i all reverted last night to 103419 and we all went back to haveing no lag problems what so ever. try it and let me know what you think. the cure is here, :)

skip all of the stuff above and just make sure your arma 2 version is the same version that the server uses. Dayz commander is the best way to do this. I reverted back to an older version patch of arma 2 , (the one my server is running) and i'm back to gaming like a boss. try it, i promise you'll be amazed. this has been tested to work. version 105785 has been causing lag issues like the patch before it unless your server is running it, which barely any are. :)

use dayz commander to revert to the arma 2 version that the server uses. example, the latest arma 2 patch 105785 lags the hell out of my server that is using version 103419, i reverted back to 103419 last night and i am up to 70 fps. everyone in my clan was having lag issues after the last patch of arma 2, we all reverted last night, and we all had huge gains in fps and abillity to run high to very high settings last night. I hope this helps.

Dayz servers fps drops and stuff help
KRYFIVE replied to Masammeg's topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting
So my clan and I found the fix to the infamous lag issues. Use Dayz commander is step one. Step two, look at what arma 2 version the server is using that you want to join. Step three, revert or upgrade as needed to the version that the server uses. This will fix your lag problems guarenteed!!! Enjoy.
