  1. Maybe. The choices we make determine who we are. If the choice had been my own life, or that mans life, then it might be different. But we'll never know, will we?

    My experience with Bandits

Best bandit story? Coming off the hill to the west of cherno that has the lone residental on it, found a nice g17 in cherno firestation and was proceeding west towards balota, all of a sudden hear shots crack over my head. Drop to the ground, i'm right at the coast near the overturned dinghy. Proceed to scream over mic "cease fire cease fire i am friendly" No response, shots keep ringing out. One connects with my leg sticking out from the end and snaps it in two. I'm now bleeding heavily and have broken legs. I manage to locate his position in the grass about 100 meters away. With 2k blood left and no options on the table i time my roll out of cover, a shot hits me in the foot as i roll out, line up his head with my now shaking violently g17, *pop*. One shot, one kill. He had about 20 stanag mags and a m4a1 cco, czech and cz. Looted his body dropped an out of ammo enfield i'd found on the corpse and took a position in the house on the hill and waited. Sure enough, along he came 5 minutes later. Lined up the sights and, well, you can guess what happened next.
  3. I would have abandoned the climb and tried to save the man. Tear me asunder all you want. The mountain will always be there, you can come back and climb it again. That would eat at my conscience till the day i died. If he dies in the attempt, i'll know i'll have done all i can. And don't be giving me that "he knew the risks" crap, i know the risks every time i cross the road. Doesn't mean i deserve to be left die in the gutter.

    Self Blood Bags

Drop the blood level system entirely and incorporate body part and organ damage into the game, ala surgeon simulator 2013. Seriously, imaging how awesome it would be to have to find a doctor to dig a bullet out of your arm or have to stitch a wound closed on your leg yourself. That would be sweet. Now thats realism. Of course if you get shot in the heart you're dead in 3 seconds. I might sound like i'm joking, but how feasible would organ and artery damage be to dayz?
  5. I'm disagree with the above post, But i do believe there needs to be a cooldown of 10 minutes ( at least ) per respawn at any one location. Let me explain why: I've been playing dayz for a good long time now, since just after the alpha was released. When i die ingame, on the south or eastern coasts, i would continually kill myself to get back to my body if it was a z who nailed me, or to revenge kill. Whether you agree with me doing that or not, it would usually take me between 2 and 3 minutes to accomplish my task and i'd beeline it back to my body. Now, this feature makes that alot easier. Am i opposed to this? No, whether you agree with my playstyle or not, i'm going to keep doing it, because i'm not about to throw away days or weeks worth of gear because you think it's not cool or you don't agree with it. I'll do as i damn well please and if you don't like it you can kindly go to hell. I play the game how i like to play it. I might be coming off as a bit of a douche here, but i'll be damned if someone will tell me how to play my game, my way.
