    anybody else getting kicked suddenly "BattleEye failed to update"? Although before spawning 'Update completed successfully" and "Initializing"...also saw a couple more players getting kicked the same way. It s first time for me getting this error.

    don't forget to fix the 'deadly' ladder bugs in the next patch! climbing ladders used to work, it can't be rocket science and it's extremely annoying. a, and the prison glitch still there, found some wanker in a neaf prison yesterday. one so idiot that he tried to shoot through walls =)))

    Running - Running fast - from a disabled gamer's POV

    I was also wondering if I could use a USB triple foot switch to control some of the DayZ action (at least prone, crouch, stand) @georgli: are your self-made switches also running through usb? did you encounter some problems assigning commands (beside the already mentioned sprint action)? I found some cheap triple switches (15gbp, free shipping) and I must try them out. and about the zeds, if you re fresh into Dayz, maybe consider couple of hints: 1. never stop while confronting the zeds, not even for a half of sec 2. always try to position yourself sideways 3. correct your position after you start swinging you melee weapon (works on longer swinging action like firefighter axe, hoe or tridents) 4. if you re a fresh spawn and running away from zeds try a light zigzag, that would f*ck their sprint a little. sometimes when you running directly to a sprinting zed, the most efficient way is to sync and perfectly time your 'raise weapon' and 'hit' action, this way you ll never have to stop and it will minimally slow you down (this one is tricky, you ll have to practice this a while) see you in the woods! ps: stay away from ladders especially watch towers for this patch, 80% death (even climbing down without a weapon in hands, it happened sudden 'you' re dead' message, without the suicide jump animation).
  4. was that the Infection patch? if something like the 1.7 or 1.8 infection hits SA but with the new zeds, everybody better start packing antis :))) stashes would be also nice in that case. I m sure zed spawning mechanism is under tuning now, but until then, circle them around, never stop, always try to be sideways. sometimes if I have a lower damage melee, I m swinging and moving nonstop, correcting my position while swinging, this way almost every swing is a hit, with a little luck and calm maybe get the head, shorten their sufferance :P sprinting is ok, spawning, glitching and detection should be worked on. after that, increase the numbers and we re there, bambis.

    well, I only suggested that to be taken in consideration, if it's not too complicated to be setup, it would bring great happiness to the poor bitchers that we are :D besides, you'll get rid, at least for a while, of the not-so-patient part of the trigger-happy DayZiers and will be able to focus, relaxed and positive, on the colors of the boonie hats or the textures of the wool coats (which, I agree, are awesome, but for the category previously mentioned, are only salt-on-wounds). And yes, maybe we are not that patient, but we also take this game seriously. Peace and see you in the mod.

    sorry, what do you mean by "stress-testing .37"? It s better than nothing, I sincerely already miss playing Dayz :)) and it's not only me, I have at least 5 other RL friends who dropped it after the '>1 minute invisibility' bug (I called it that way because I'm reporting effects, not causes:) Or at least give server owners the possibility to decide which version they run, that would seem legit and thoughtful to the community. Hold your Pferden, Ellen, the DayZ community is a diverse one, no one ask you to be the speaker. after all, we all helped this game become what it is (playing it, reporting bugs, suggesting content and behavior and not to forget massively buying the alpha) and what will be and I don't think we, the category who still wants to fluidly play it (even without the new content) exaggerate by kindly requesting some .37 servers, as long as is not Bohemia who's paying for hosting. PS: your NO is simply adorable, no offense :)

    massive desync causing invisible players and zeds + random unjustified fractures + random lost session + long unreliable logging time = game unplayable, YES. of course you can endlessly search for berries and flash your dirty underwear to pervs on the shore, but that's working only for a minor part of the community. I appreciate the effort and I understand the mistakes, but at least there should be servers with the PLAYABLE patches available. .37 was safe and I think it should be still available to play. and Angr, let's stick to the topic and keep our parents out of this this, shall we?

    played for an hour with teammate on a 10-15 players UK server. from time to time (maybe every 5 to 10 minutes), one of us would remain running in the same spot for 10-15 seconds only to teleport himself 50 meters away afterwards. spawning is a pain in the @ss, waiting on please wait over 30 seconds on a 10 players GB server, after I spawned it took another 20 seconds for the shortcuts to become active. buddy spawned also 10 seconds after me, I can see him but he can t. I think pvp is off for me with this patch, no way one can be sure of another s player position or even himself s....once again: "but hey, we got Tac Bac" well, shove it. oink. PLEASE HOTFIX THIS, IT S UNPLAYABLE! UPDATE: I AM F*ING INVISIBLE BUT I CAN SHOOT OR PUNCH! =))) I have been punching my teammate for 2 minutes now, with damage, without him seeing me =)) I let him punch me too, but no impact, it goes through =))) ping 48, desync 0 in P menu. well guys, YOU F*CKED UP! ...still laughing, my mate was horrified as I was punching him around on invisible mode..well, enjoy your Tac Bac ;))
  13. further bitching: besides loosing time designing new cans while having serious issues like random loosing session, did it had to be that lame to insert a retarded item like a 'tactical bacon' can that is so tactical that needs special tools to open it up?! =))) this weak Last of Us reference doesn t bring you any beans here, devs, not in my book..
  14. - massive desyncs (zeds + items, didn t got any pvp, don t even want to think about that) - session lost random without server restarts - random zed sounds still there - passive zeds inside buildings (some half sunk into the floor) - min 30 fps in towns (didn t went to big cities), but the max is reduced - some barrack doors just won t open, some of doors will open only after minutes - some changes to hopping over fences, but that could be the desync but hey! new cans! =))) beside that, everything s fine. even got killed by a barrack hopper (thought maybe on experimental people are having more spine, but I m being only naive :))
  15. - can not crawl any longer through holes in the concrete fence - the camo net outpost in nwaf doesn t have sandbags walls any longer, although items are spawning in mid-air, where the walls used to be - the new melee mechanic is a real pain in the ass (can someone also please confirm that sprinting with axe in hands is faster?)
  16. one nice surprise: mosin in the back, sks in hands, log out, logged back in, sks is in the inventory, under the backpack, dragged 'in hands', no problem. sweet. also, found a nice boonie hat but could take it :( edit: found another one, real interested how to attach vegetation as camo as intended

    - loot still spawning under floor level, also in supermarkets players randomly appear 1 meter under the floor - body hidden on the outpost sink only 30 cm but remain visible, floating in air - on DE 0-4 (I think) dropped gear remained for couple of days, can someone confirm if there was or wasn t any restart at all? - buddy fell down of a building, died, when respawned it was daylight despite the fact that for the others it was night (around 18.30 on the server). got his gear back, tried to start afterburner (shift+F2), got stuck in F2 gesture and after relogging he fresh-spawned in the middle of the ocean (wasn t killed, we were guarding his last position, no gear/body on the logout spot) - occasionally still massive delay by item drop and sometimes even while opening doors - splitting ruined ammo make it pristine, still - please make other items paint spray-able too (SKS, axe, pilot helmets, maybe even backpacks etc) - MAKE THE RANDOM PLAYER/ZED SOUNDS STOP (can opening, ammo, zeds grunts etc) - GET THAT PLAYER/ZED WALLS PHASING FINALLY FIXED - FIX OCCASIONAL FALLING BUG WHILE CLIMBING LADDERS (also got fractured after climbing up a ladder) - if there will be any work done on the shooting sounds, please implement realistic echo, especially in cities with tall buildings Game is highly playable, very fluent, nice immersion, I'm sure future content will generate new purposes (for now, after gearing up with the squad the only purpose is looking for trouble in big coast cities). Also some work should be done to the server menu (servers in history should be able to be sorted by date, filter should have a drop down menu for hardcore/regular mode), also please add server name on "P" player list menu

    yesterday I have experience the same massive rubber-banding, but I can not remember on which server. after I changed it everything was ok. still, some desync was present.

    there is another very annoying bug which should be soon fixed: in some areas (last I ve encountered was last evening on Otmel-Kamyshovo hill) are major rendering bugs, when shooting players although fully in sight, 1st person, from 50-100m, bullets are blocked by invisible rocks or obstacles. highly annoying when one can not count on terrain, this should be fixed ASAP

    well, played for couple of hours yesterday and the fps are definitely up but the lag is still there. item drop lag and most annoying pvp lag. sudden encounter at military base vybor, I shot twice the other player before he even raise his weapon but I fell down unconscious. after teammate epipenned me I found out that the other player was dead on spot. so it s a massive desync I would say, please fix this sh*tty lag before other stuff, pvp is clearly an important part of dayz, otherwise the results of an encounter will be always random, not fun at all for an experienced gamer.

    I wanted to know which levers does an admin have in SA (as the teleport or seeing players positions in mod). this possibility excluded now, I don t know what to think, for real. maybe another exploit which I don t know about, but in any case, it wasn t ok. and your sarcastic 'him/they killed you, sad' don t help much, zeppa, it was an impossible 3-kills situation. maybe it s something similar to the top secret wall glitch, which I only find out about 1 weeks ago.

    oh, so either me and my squad met a hacker today (don t think so) or an admin wanker intervened. On DE 4-137, 10 minutes ago, me and other 2 friends were waiting hidden in the roots on Dobry Hill, Elektro. Suddenly a player appeared with raised weapon 5 meters from me and began imediately shooting at me, dead and immediately killed my other 2 friends who were 20-30 meters away, everything in 10 seconds. where can I report an admin abuse, please? whoever did that, especially if it s an admin, should be banned. it was not a glitch, not an exploit, only pure abuse.
