    Avoid Elektro? Safe to say 90% of the hackers are near the coast and around the popular areas.. The hacked gear and vehicles I am fine with, more people with gear to kill and bury, more vehicles to blow up while they are driving. The shitty hackers are the ones that nuke servers, teleport you, teleport behind you after you killed them, god mode, invisible people and other grieving hacks and scripts. When I roam around Elek I encounter hackers all the time but once you leave that area they are pretty rare..

    I talked with a DayZ staff member through my ticket and he forwarded it to someone that could help me. He said the wait is a week+ for a reset.. I'd say to put in a ticket or contact them to get in the waiting line for this. Retry everything though, installing versions, servers etc.. None of it worked for me so I guess the char reset is last resort.

    No but, for the people that need their character reset they will need your ID.. If that is the problem. I had to put in a ticket, people with the same problem might want to do so..

    The problem isn't on my end................... I have loaded it with and without steam, I have used 7000 profiles and 1500 launchers.

    It loads the beta version I have installed + the dayz version I have installed like it is supposed to. It has NOTHING to do with my versions. If one works then the other doesn't that is pretty clear it isn't on my end specially when I have tried multiple computers with a shitload now of different servers, settings, versions etc.. You keep saying the same thing and it isn't very helpful. Different / new profiles doesn't help :\

    When the server lags and desync you will see people running in place.. I don't get how no one saw you. Have had a few encounters with invisible people lately.. One shot me up with a 1911 after I heard his footsteps and heavy breathing.

    Two steam accounts, I've tried them both on 2 different computers and it is the same. Are you not reading what I am typing? I have tried multiple versions on so many different servers. 1.7.2.5 and 95883 are what I am using right now playing on one account but if I switch to the other account and try to join the SAME server I get the error. My versions are correct, the servers are fine, its clearly something to do with the character file.

    It's always been the right version. I have even tried downgrading and different beta versions. 1.7.2.5 and 95883 are the versions that I play on and have tried the most with currently. One account works fine and the other always gets the same error.

    I keep getting this error trying to login with one of my accounts when the other works completely fine. My DayZ and Arma 2 are up to date and everything works fine. I login with one account, join a server and it works great. I try playing with the other one and can't avoid this error. I searched and maybe thinking my character data is corrupt? Or maybe position?

    Yes, I went out of my way to post this three times. It triple posted on it's own. Going to try another computer now once it finishes updating..

    This happened to me earlier tonight.. The server went red link, message came up for no response X time, abort was faded out so you couldn't really leave unless you alt f4 or end task etc.. With this new script or hack once you alt f4 it will kill you. So if you are in a server and can't abort once it goes red link and what not, don't alt f4. End task or close the game a different way. Good luck.
