Hackers probably don't use tents because they can spawn items. There are a lot of tents near Kamenka spawn. Did your skin change? I always lose my items when it bugs out and goes from survivor to bandit and bandit to survivor..

That is how I play unless sniping. People get overwhelmed and will flail 9 out of 10 times. Dem shakes. ;)

I think a lot of people have their own servers so they can power trip on it, collect every vehicle and play without a challenge. Pay to win in one way or another with your own server. -
Then I want bacon. Animals often disappear in front of my eyes at the times I need them most. They don't seem overly common to be honest..

Post your character ID in the topic. A lot of us have been waiting 2-3+ weeks for a reset, though. Character file / position is corrupted so it wont load. -
Hacked in weapons is definitely the biggest issue and problem with DayZ atm. Let's just auto ban everyone with those guns. Specially someone on their first day who's inventory gets changed by a hacker and has no idea their gun isn't on the loot table.

Unable to change name(not normal issue)

Try editing the folder / file name to change the name if you can't do it in game.. Not sure if that works or not, haven't ever tried it. I would just create 2-3 new profiles then exit out and try changing them where the profiles are. C:\Users\Terrex\Documents\ArmA 2 Other Profiles is the default location for me. There is a folder for each profile name then the file with the saved settings etc.. Edit: It just worked for me.. Copied over an old profile and renamed the folder / file inside. Jamal is there. Good luck. ;) -

I find them off the map and it can be almost any server.. I prefer servers with 15 or less in an attempt to avoid hackers.. Not every server will have these tents, the good ones also wont be so close to the coast. I only know a couple right by Kamenka but 81254815 tents all around the edge of the map full of gear.

To the average player, it is hardly much of an advantage. But why go out of your way so much to ban someone innocent or clueless using a gun they might not be sure of? It's retarded that people get upset over it.

Til the game is more secure and in a better running state why does it matter what weapon you are using? If someone picks up an AS50 TWS that doesn't mean they are automatically going to be killing the entire server.. The amount of butthurt over this crap is unreal.

Within 3-5 minutes of spawning at Kamenka I can have, L85, AS50 with some NATO rounds, Rangefinder, GPS, NVG, 24 slot Coyote etc... Just need to know where to look for them camps. :)
