You can join a private hive the same as another server. Some you need to get whitelisted for though and have to message them your GUID or a name you tried to join on. Private hives are great, not every server though has good active admins. There's a couple that have pretty awful corrupted ones. Watch out for those. ;)

This game would be dull if there was no PvP or risk from other players. If you want to coop play then maybe try to get some friends to play with or a little group.

I'd try sitting in a very populated server in hopes of a hacker killing you.. Sad to say it. You might be stuck there because character resets haven't been happening, at least I've been stuck out of normal hives for about 2 months from mine being bugged. If you don't want to wait you can always get a fresh spawn on private hives. -

A couple M107 snipe kills + few other clips with an awesome vehicle ram. And murders from sniping, assault rifles to the Bizon SD.

The engine is quite amazing, I love it. It's not the easiest to learn but once you figure it out and get the mechanics down it can be very rewarding visually and how it handles. Yes, it can feel bulky and slow but you're a character full of gear and that should weigh you down some. As for what you said that is all opinionated. I really like the fact I can take sometimes items away after killing them. Not too many games have this feature included, a classic was UO and I played that a ton. It's a hard, unforgiving game and some are after that kind of PvP. Most games nowadays are made to be too easy and that isn't fun for me in the least.

I've never laughed this hard playing a game until DayZ. Some of the ridiculous things that occur during firefights is amazing and no other game can match that really.

I've seen it in another game before but the third person wouldn't render anything that the character couldn't actually see. This could balance out the 3D view but I have no idea if that could be implemented on the engine. Sometimes when I look around in the 3D things wont load or render but that just might be some lag.

Machine gun + a sniper. AS50 is the best and the Mk48 + SAW are both a lot of fun. L85 is good for spotting but if you don't need the thermal help the machine guns are quite beasts in firefights. -

I think I got a couple videos up of us doing it, at least one for sure. Mostly driving around with a black SUV on private hives picking people up. It is so damn funny.

I killed an admin while he was duping on his own server and got banned. Classy. If it's your own server and a private hive I don't see the problem with banning them if you want them gone and not to dupe.

If you can see someone at that distance, sure. Missed the point though. I don't think I have ever been able to see that far without the fog blocking it. Maybe 1100. -

1200m? I don't think I have ever been able to see it that far without the fog.. A 1200m kill isn't an easy come by. -

You haven't done everything.. If you are that bored then you need to be more creative. A couple friends and I are always coming up with new hilarious things to do in this game each day. Stop killing everyone the instant you see them and maybe you'll see some scenarios play out in a way you've never expected, that is the beauty of DayZ.

Not weeks, just a few days. It isn't hard to get kills if that's the only thing you are trying to do. I've played this game enough to know where to go when I want some fighting. Once you get over the "high kill count" you'll move on to some good stuff.

Believe it or not, I have the shot now to back it up. Makes no difference to me. I used to snipe with 1-2 covering and 1-2 spotting, no one got near me. Not dying to a hacker can be avoided. Your personal experiences do not apply to everyone else.
