So tired of having to travel to Balota, a place I know is dangerous and has no loot, just to see another living soul. Hopefully this change will fix that.

I hate to have to say it, but I really hate all you noobs. Please stop giving input on this game. There is no shortage of games to hold your hand. Just because DayZ mod got really popular, a bunch of people want to jump on this game and on this forum and suggest how the game should be more like Call of Duty. If you truly want these things, buy Arma 2 and get DayZ mod, and play on any one of a million servers that start you with full bags of weapons and ammo and vehicles every 20 feet.

I finally made my way to the military base north of Kamenka, which I believe is the final stop on my grand tour of Chernarus Plus until the far north is further developed. Overall I think the Kamenka military base is one of my favorite areas on the map and cannot wait to get into some interesting situations there. It reminds me of the base with the underground bunker from Namalsk! I found my first .357 magnum in the second barracks I searched, and took note that the military loot spawns have been altered a great deal even though it is not in the patch notes. The revolver has a nice clicking sound without any bullets. I threw 50 rounds of the stuff away from a bullet box on a fallen foe just the other day! So stupid :(

I thought of this one time...have starting loadout and nothing but zombie battle royale. but its kind of pointless with the place holder broken wallhack zombies. i dont want MORE zombies until they work on BETTER zombies. Remember 1.7.7?

Can't believe the crying with loaves of bread under each arm. While we wait for development to get back on full steam, they have fixed literally all the totally broken things that made me bored with the game as of last night. Being able to loot bodies makes the game playable again. Say thank you and then shut up.

I have always wanted to know if Rocket took any cues from that book. It certainly does reference "blood cults," and there seem to be a lot of people interested in blood in the standalone :D

In the east end of the first block of apartments from Balota, there is a barracks with a holding cell that is tucked between the apartments and largely unknown to the public and will often have closed doors and enough loot for some PvP at Balota. You are welcome. I do have ulterior motives, being that I want to see more PvP in these new apartment complexes. Y'all are scurred.

I had this idea once but I think I was talking to somebody at the time and forgot all about it. Yes, this absolutely needs to be in the game. But maybe focus on it a bit later for now!

I was able to finally achieve the healing/healthy status and narrowly survived several tragic encounters because unconsciousness seemed to have nothing against my healing beast mode. It is hard to tell given the bugginess of unconsciousness currently, can anyone else confirm? Regardless of whether unconsciousness is nerfed by good health, I do think healthy status is a little overpowered at the moment.

Last time I was robbed I managed to escape with only my can opener! I think that the game would be more immersive with a 5 second rule lol

Oh I do not think I am right, I know I am right and that you are wrong because how I play the game and what you claim to know about it are oceans apart. You can laugh your ass off all you want and sit in judgment of everyone from your lonely bush. In the end it will only hurt you because no one will like you or want to be around you. To sum up my position: 1. There are some awesome places in DayZ that not many people know about. 2. One such place is in the Cherno apartments near Balota. 3. It would be nice to see some action there, and maybe a bit less focus on Balota in general. To sum up your position: 1. OP is a frankenface wanna be badass. 2. OP is a server hopper 3. OP disguises himself as a not very geared player to hide the fact that he is a server hopper.

Now, are we done here? Note how my hotbar is full of items I do not have. That is because I was robbed and left for dead, but survived. If i was a server hopper, I would have probably combat logged, wouldn't I?

I predicted this response and unfortuantely for you it only clarifies for anyone else reading that you are grasping at straws. Are you honestly high? Or have you never seen a server hopper before in your life? Server hoppers look like ninja turtles. I do not look like a fucking ninja turtle now, do I? Do I have a helmet on? Do I have a gas mask on? Do I have a hunter pack and a fully modded M4? Where is my fire axe? If I had spent several hours murdering people and server hopping, I would not look like such a scrub. You should just stop.

This one is really easy to miss! I personally went through Zelenogorsk for the first time and never found the military base there, and ended up getting shot by server hoppers on Green Mountain after 7 hours of seeing not a soul.

I don't care who Ryzoh is or if you are friends with him or whatever. His opinion is not the opinion of all, and his dismissive response was rude and I was not out of line in my response to his rudeness. If you do not care for my topic for some personal reason and wish to assume ill about me then you can do so quietly. This topic was made to help people who might benefit from it. Again, your argument hinges on your assumption that I am just sitting there waiting for people to come by. You have no basis to assume that about me and it invalidates your entire argument to reveal such general ignorance.

People assume so much about me! Is it not a shame that a huge piece of development went into creating these new areas, and they are largely ignored by the community? I am sick of having to go to boring Balota to even find ANYONE. I figured telling people about a very nearby military loot source might generate some traffic in these new arenas. But all I get for sharing a tip for noobs basically is to be called names, told I am hostile and accused of being a server hopper. ALL FOR SHARING THERE IS A LOOT SPOT <1000M FROM BALOTA THAT NOBODY CARES ABOUT. Just from that utterance, you truly hostile players have extracted a variety off 'facts' about me which are totally assumed, and make you appear ignorant to call anyone hostile.
