I have lost The Brothers Karamazov three separate times.

It works really well so long as you know what it's good for.

Never understood why anyone not recording would hate night servers. Especially in standalone where NVG is a non-issue.

I have done extensive testing. At some point after the last patch (long ago) pathfinding saw some huge leaps in improvement, and zombie count on server restart seems to have at least doubled. I can make a zombie follow me through most doorways and up most stairs. Before, 'upstairs' was the new 'zombies cant walk indoors.'

I have noticed a lot of noob behavior in buildings and have killed multiple geared hostiles with my wits and my fists. The telltale 'perfect shot' seeking has been rampant in the corridors and bedrooms and I have prevailed on many occasions while a player struggled to headshot me. If you've been fatally embarassed by a skilled melee player, these tips are for you: 1. Killing is not the only thing your rifle does. Use it to buy time, cover your exit or push to a less dangerous position. You may be in a hallway, but the tactics you use at 200-500m are scalable to most situations. 2. If your opponent is within melee range, 30 bullets should be plenty enough to kill him if you are both on the same server. Don't just stand there and be pummeled while you line up that MLG headshot. Use your ammo, or lose your ammo. 3. Aim low and shoot fast. You won't think to check your zeroing in this kind of situation, so just point at the groin and spray. 4. The most dangerous man is the man who has nothing to lose.

I wasn't giving my opinion. I was sharing some facts that I learned through experience. Let me point out the difference: Opinion: You're a very nasty little thing. Fact: You are completely wrong on both your points.

New item: Whetstone New item: (Up for debate) Sword Blades of poor status may be repaired at the cost of time. A quiet but distinct noise is made when using the whetstone to maintain your edged weapons. Any melee weapon with a blade can be repaired to +2 its base status. A Damaged Bayonet could be improved to Pristine, but a Ruined Fire Axe would only be able to repair as high as Damaged. Different sized whetstones could be available for flexible inventory management. A smaller stone might only be able to effectively sharpen small knives and bayonets. Once zombies are abundant, such an item should be rare and coveted by most players.

It depends on the situation, always. And if I feel like being silly, anything goes. I love trying to punch geared players when I am still fresh.

None of the buildings on Skalisty island currently spawn loot. There is a functional well, and nothing else.

Requirements: FNX45, .357 revolver with ammo (beginner) or any weapon (advanced) So you are going to be captured. We have all been there. Sometimes multiple bandits just get the drop on you. So what can you do? Step 1: Establish communication immediately with your attackers. Let them know you are friendly quickly so they do not shoot you. Step 2: TAB and immediately drop your loaded pistol to the ground then move forward until you are told to stop. Then F2. (note: do not give in to the temptation to drop anything other than your pistol. You cannot risk tipping the bandits that you have dropped anything. Step 3: Surrender to captivity. Cooperate with all bloodwork, surrender your inventory, do not resist when they lock you down. Step 4: When the bandits have left you, quickly break free and collect your pistol. You should be able to catch up with the bandits and engage them. Step 5: If successful, you now have more gear than you started with, and you outsmarted a bandit squad. Good job!

Also be sure to poison any food you are carrying on you before hand. Only eat the food that you find as you find it. This also helps you to avoid throwing up eventually.

I don't and I think anyone who does should uninstall the game, sell their video card, buy a gun and some bullets and repaint their walls red. Or at least just quit videogames forever.

I have found just about everything multiple times by now except the press vest, which spawns in very specific places. But last night I found a red dot sight attachment for the FNX45 that I have never seen before. And by that, I mean I have played a good 45 hours and watched a fair bit of streams/Youtube and have NEVER seen the pistol sight before. If you have one, you may have killed me :D

I think it's too bad you bought a really great game and only play 1% of it.

Other: Under the current circumstances some mods might spice up the game in its state right now. But it's an alpha so build updates are going to be too frequent for any dedicated modding to generate. I doubt anyone would waste their time until late beta or full release. It's just as well it's not possible right now.

AHHH I just remembered that I died and lost my favorite book. Way more important :(

of all the systems currently implemented, this is quite possibly the only one that is completely perfect as is.
