If you want to move around for awhile and interact with other players, you'd best team up. The map isn't big enough for me, having played the mod, except as a PvP platform. Doesn't even matter if the add other things, like badass zombies. What's Rocket's intent? You got it. PvP. That's what the game is, if your intent is to stay alive more a couple hours with people interaction. The difference between a KOSer and others is how often they visit the beach and re-gear. That's it. You can play longer with a squad of KOSers or a squad of heroes. Up to you. -

You shot an unarmed man in the back, as he was running away. Then you chopped him up. It's on video.

In the mod you can change text size via either game or vid option. Had mine a larger size. Might be an option in the standalone.

Sure, but I never expressed desire for a safe zone of any kind. Never complained about anything. Except people hammering the OP's idea. I don't care if there's a safe zone, or not. Don't care what the devs do. -

I'm not asking for it. I'm just saying it's not a bad idea. I have a partner, others might see it as a way to partner up. You can make a place "safe" if you want to. I'm not ready to join you. -

A safe zone doesn't take any of that away. Nobody buys a game for a safe zone. It's purely an in-game meet-up place. -

What? Dying is a big thing? Not to me. DayZ immersive? Somewhat, but its still a game to me. The strip could be put at map top, and the "safe" area would be in what's now the debug area. No big deal. When you're not in that zone, you're as susceptible to bullets as always. -

Stay focused. Nobody has mentioned "health packs." As far as avoiding an area, can you ay "Balota?" Can you say "the Coast?" "Mule" characters can find plenty of places to hide. You are "forced" to have many things in the game. None of what you've said is a good argument. BTW, I don't care one way or another. Just puzzled by the response to this. -

It's funny how you jump on the guy for proposing an idea. Do "YOU" have to make use of this "safe zone trading area." Of course not. So what's the problem?. Better spell it out. "Camping" wouldn't be a problem. A long strip of "guns inoperative" along the edge of the map, with a town or village somewhere in that long strip. Pretty hard to camp a 5k border. You don't have to go there. What's your fear about this? -

What the hell? Server hoppers? How many M4's can you carry? I think you guys exaggerate how many hoppers are out there. Wide distribution of loot will fix it. -
I concluded there are a few ways to play Dayz. First off, IMO it's a PVP game, and probably always will be. Solo you can run around without pants, goofing on people. You'll die pretty quickly. Or solo you can gear up and talk to other players. You'll live a bit longer if you're lucky. After a while it'll get pretty boring gearing up again and repeating. Solo you can gear up and sneak around like a snake, perhaps KOS ambushing or simply surviving. Boring. Teaming up makes it better. Even a 2-man team can survive longer, making gearing up tolerable. You can play good guy or bad guy. There are always opponents. But teaming up is key to the game as it is now. You need somebody to watch your back. That's only my take. Haven't bought it yet, but played the mod. Still the same.

0 I guess he didn't like your saying those killing new spawns are wankers. Of course they are wankers. I thoroughly enjoyed the entire video. Nicely transitioned. Your voice is pleasing enough and I had no problem understanding. Don't know about the SKS.

You make good videos. Subscribed, BTW. There was a problem with language at the airfield. The other player didn't understand "building." Not much for it though.

Bandits don't like being identified. Makes them a target. Also makes backstabbing more difficult. -
So what does killing new spawns on the beach do to promote discussion?
