Does anyone feel like they're partaking in a Zed Apoc? I mean you go around you see zombies yeah that we know. However what about buildings and other areas? I walk into a building and 99% of the time it looks like a normal house, with the off take off the house with SOME blood in it. Understanding not all houses are going to be blood infested, however I want to walk into a town and see a quarantined off house or two that you can't enter unless you have a gas mask. And upon entering? Maybe a mangled corpse or two, blood everywhere, broken windows, body parts and a few dead soldiers with gear you have to use Disinfectant Spray on before use, that way we can get some military style gear outside of the camps. I mean something that FEELS like an infested "some shit went down here" house. Also I would like to see some sort of Lab area like a Make Shift CDC or something. An area that is surrounded by towers and fence. And upon entering those? You find high loot medical on rare occasion and some Zeds that take more than one person to put down. Also before someone goes off with the "That's too gruesome" thing remember this IS NOT a childs game.

Situation time. You're in a building whispering to your friend you found an M4, in real life you know no one can hear you. Yet some dude 30m away can hear you. Runs over to where you're at and smacks you with a shovel. Next thing you know you're pissed and say the game is bugged because 30m is too far.

It's as simple as this. If 3rd was removed we would all be at the same level of being "fair". If you remove 3rd you would also have to remove the FOV slider. A player that can't handle "Quake Pro" basically to a real life downfall of motion sickness will not be able to use that. So what does he/she get? A box that gives nothing more than it can VS the person that doesn't get motion sickness and can see "nearly" 180°. So that means we lose 3rd AND the FOV slider (that's just my outtake on all of it). All in all if 3rd was the thing that was taken out only, we would lose a massive player base. Now I understand some people are going to have the mentality that "I don't care. If they can't play like me they shouldn't be here". However look at it like this. Many players complain right now that they can run around a server and not see anyone even if they are on a full server (happens to me quite often as well), if you take 3rd away more than half of the players will leave, or at least somewhere in that ball park. So what does that leave us with? Less players and more bitching about not seeing anyone. We all know 3rd is going no where unless a Hive is created with a "Hard Core" mode, and there is nothing wrong with that. And that leaves us with this, and I hate to be a dick, but get over it. We have all used 3rd to cheatsie-doodle every now and again. So when that day comes where you know 3rd is gone and you get mad because you died after 5 days of survival because you know someone was there and you couldn't place where they were by using 3rd? You have no right to get mad. I already know someone is going to contest me with "You don't know me, I ALWAYS play in 1st", and when they do I can't do anything about it because we can't prove if you do or don't. Too add this is all coming from a guy that plays in 1st for the most part.

Can this be addressed ASAP? Not is the combat logging annoying but the players body disappearing after they get killed and rage quit. This is the 9th time today I've killed someone just for them to hit "exit" and leave no trace that they were even in the server. I just climbed to the top of a new apartment building and killed a sniper that was fully geared, just to see his body disappear.

Really? Learn the use of the bipod, pristine parts, and ranging. Gun play is ripped and cross bred between Arma 2 AND 3 engine, leaning more towards Arma 3 though. If you haven't played Arma 3 I will say you will have an extremely hard time shooting things at range. If you're not going prone to fire at something more than 100m away you are wrong and need to start doing so. Also your character is NOT a soldier from Arma anymore. So you know what the problem is and you complain? You literally just destroyed your own post with that sentence. Also I can assume you know what this is? Steady Position Proper Aim (Sight Picture) Breathing Trigger SqueezeYou and I know more than well enough you CANNOT control two of these in a video game. Breathing and Trigger Squeeze are not possible to get in games. Yeah you can "hold your breath" by holding RMB (MAYBE in DayZ) however I have yet to see any of that. You have to learn to use the tools you are given. So stop complaining about it and try something else than trying to be a "1337 scout sniper" bandit because we all know your not shooting zeds for fun at that range.

You know why? Because of bullshit Balota, 3 barracks, mil tents, ATC Tower, and the new barracks with a jail cell in them. I find M4's for days in there! Mags, ammo, packs, and other shit that you used to have to go to NWAF for. Stary Mil camp is gone now, and there is a Military Base right north of Kamenka! TOTAL BS! I spawned at Balota ran up to it for the first time and seen that it was a decked out military area. Got my bag, vest, helmet, medical, and got my guns (both M4 and pistol WITH mags and ammo) ran over to the town got my food and water just to basically meet "End Game" all within 8 minutes. There was nothing to do after that except to be that ass hat Bandit camper that doesn't know what the north side of the map looks like. So I dropped that shit in a random house in Cherno and ran north to do what REAL Vets do.

There is nothing wrong with veterans. I am a vet of DayZ and I personally find that we are needed in the game no matter what. I came across a few new players already with the questions filling Direct Chat. What do I do? Where should I go? When can I kill everyone and be a badass? I, of course, try and steer them to the Jedi ways just to see them become the Evil I try and prevent. I have succeeded in a few of these buckos but a lot see that it is easier to kill anything they see. And I am sad to say that most of these people are just kids that go to the good side. I am talking I play with 12-13 year olds sometimes because they have that Brain to be formed. I'm sad to see people that would know better in a game like this. I played with one guy and he was about 20. He killed someone and just ran over the body not even checking for loot saying "Dude that guys skull was fucked he is such a noob faggot with no skill" I left the TS in shame. For a guy like me video games are my life. I walk around with a cane and do generally nothing, females are a thing of imagination to me now my Army Days are over. All in all I like helping people new to the game, It gives me something to do. I run up north grab my gear and head to the Coast where Heroes are needed more than Batman in Gotham. However yes I hope to see a "Tutorial" or at least a single player so people that are new can learn before they get in just to get there head smashed in for no reason by some jackass wearing a PayDay 2 mask wielding a Fire Axe. We had to learn the hard way when we got in, and in a small sense we are noobs again with the new system. Loot is rare, food can rot, water needs purifying, ammo is scarce, blood bags are not just willy nilly at hospitals, and many more things to be named and found out. Hell we barely know what rope and sticks are used for. In the mod we were handed these things like it was grass all around us. Also Phineas is correct, a "Nerf Camp" would be amazing. The Arma world is cruel and unforgiving. Space bar raises your weapon/fist etc. Most games it's as simple as JUMP. To jump here is sprint and press v at the right time hoping it doesn't bug out. Double tap W to sprint when it's usually Shift. And we can't forget about the F Keys. Some dude walks up to you and says put your hands up and you don't even know that part of the game? Yeah there needs to be a tutorial or some NO PVP FF OFF servers for these guys with some helpful dudes like me or some others like me wondering around teaching them tricks of the trade (<--- that may a bit too far but hey teaching these guys about heroism before hand is better than 1000s of more bandits coming in).

Am I the only one here that is lost AF and happy about it? I was running up north and came across Train Tracks AND a Train Station. So needless to say yeah there are way more places to loot. Newer towns means getting around with your Mod Bearings from the original map isn't going to help too much. And I am extremely excited about it.

That was friggin invisible, he repeatedly tried to handcuff us in the middle of an open field. We tried shooting but we all know when you get handcuffed your character decides to turn full retard and cooperate by himself by starting to put his weapon away. We could have killed him (if he wasn't GM). A simple 180 with a blaze of fire would have wiped him. So please Dean if you're out there and you read these? Please do something about our characters self deciding to cooperate. Also on a side note whilst I ramble. Anyone else get pissed at the message that say "I am hungry" or "I am thirsty". I completely agree. I'll admit when I seen the masks I ran around with it on for fun. However I found a Russian Ushanka and Gas Mask and ran around lookin like the dude from Metro 2033. Haven't strayed from that look since. I like seeing things from other games in some games to an extent. But something as childish as this mask was a bit too far. It's draggin in the CoD Kiddies thinking that they're badass with a mask from a game they haven't even played or really know of.
