Because it's literally the most dangerous round in the world and chosen by most hit-men for assassinations. The .22 has just enough velocity to pierce the skin and enter your body. After that initial break through is made the .22 is slowed to where it bounces around inside of you. Not just off bone but everywhere, even the inside of your flesh will deflect it back into more of your organs. There was an assassination back in the 70's where a man was shot in his right thigh, later the autopsy showed the round tore through his stomach, right kidney, and finally the lung.

Well the game is about realism. I done with games that take half a mag to put a fool down. If I fire a 5.56mm round into your mid chest? You are NOT getting back up. You will live for a BRIEF time after however that round with travel into you and bounce around your ribcage like the Pinball Wizard just got a hold of you. A 7.62 from an AK though? You can actually survive to an extent because the velocity for that round is more likely to go through you.

It's basically going against what Rocket wants for KoS, he's basically telling people to PVP now. Ok this has to be stopped, it's getting ridiculous now. I was just in the new military base just south of NWAF with a couple buddies. We checked the whole place, we went into the Prison (Jail Cell, Police Station, Double Barracks, whatever the fuck they're called) and cleared the entire thing. I went in there 2 minutes later and went upstairs whilst I looked at checked my assignments settings too see if the Bayonet was usable, a guy spawned in next to me all geared from the feet up. With my glimpse of him I seen a fully decked out M4 Fire Axe and clothing. The whole shebang, yeah this guy wasn't some dude just logging in he has been doin this for a while. I logged out by fumbling around the ESC Menu THIS WAS BY ACCIDENT (no shit I did not TRY combat log it really was an accident). I tried to hit escape at first but for some damn reason that doesn't close the ESC Menu for me. My friend kills him and he logs. Also earlier I watched about 4 guys spawn in at the same place south of NWAF. They were also geared up like crazy. I called them fags for hopping and they said welcome to the meta game noob and continued to kill the shit out of me.

Look I post in all the combat logs that come up and how BS it is. I never combat log, you think i was trying to combat log when I had friends backing me AND the definite jump on the guy whilst he was loading in? No I had a mistake. Plain and Simple

Nope, I play DayZ a lot and I mean A LOT. If I get a call from work, because I'm an on call worker, I disconnect. If I'm in the middle of a fire fight? Well I'm sorry but I got more pressing matters at hand than seeing if you die or if I die. I would have no problem if there was a system that made your character stay in for a minute or two. I'll just start over. We're all going to die eventually.
