What I mean is, like if I found a car, fixed it up, parked it in the woods, and forgot about it. would it stay there forever if noone found it?

I did not lose one, I was just wondering. I am sure someone somewhere has parked a vehicle in the woods, and it will never be found again, but I would like that to respawn if its not touched for say a week or something.

Will this turn off new players? I know rocket wants to make people feel emotions. Joy Anger Fear Hope Frustration Elation Does this change add or take away from those emotions? That would be my answer.

Me and my 2-4 friends have been playing for the last few days without seeing a person yet. we have scavenged multiple towns, and avoid the total hot spots like cherno/elektro and NW Af. we have found heli crashes/looted countless grocery stores(damn low rate on tent spawns) we repaired a bike( i troll the zombies with it) and we just have not seen anyone in a few days. our only death was mine when i feel down stairs in a castle and my friend bugged on a ladder. we play on a server that has between 10-25 people during the EST evening.

would nvg's for 2 atv's sound fair?

wiping chars wont matter much, as everyone will just stash their stuff, run to their tents, and regear where they were, just gotta find new tents. If you want to test it, you have to wipe servers too. I have a little basecamp but I agree, for testing, you have to have everyone start over.

YES But allow us to pick a relatively random location to spawn, say you pick kaminka, it drops you in some spawn point around there, like 1000km in a random direction. this will allow you to stop people from spawn camping and respawn spamming to get a location they want. sorry for over 20

made an auto run key with my g15 keyboard. an auto run would be awesome!

get the latest beta patch for arma 2, make sure you have 1.7 dayz, and you are playing on a 1.7 server

1.7 seems to work better for me and my friends, but you need the latest beta patch for arma 2, and some tweaking to get it to work right, but it loads a lot faster and have had minimal issues.
