When you use the search function you will find threads where people tell they use a second steam account for which they bought the game a second time.

Whaaaaaaaaat? *lawl* He really missed out on something. Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat have the most intense atmosphere i ever felt in a game. I remember all to well that i once was playing at night ... in game it was night too, rain, thunder and the occasional lightning. I was lying face down in a swamp, saw the rain drops splashing into the spreading puddles of rainwater and was eagerly looking to all sides trying to see between the reeds from where the howls might be coming. As the pack of hounds was coming nearer i just wanted to quit the game ... as it seemed the best possibility t evade the hounds. :P Super intense! Best gaming experience of my life. ... For me the key of the game was the sandbox, _the_living_world_, the complexity and the simulation aspects. Negative points: No cooperative/sandbox multiplayer, linear endgame.

Crouch/prone when you don't want to alarm anyone (near Zs, near players, near houses) Generally you shuld go for supermarkets, churches, fire stations, deer stands, hangars and military tents ... maybe barracks.

Intended behavior. Use search function. As the latest ArmaII beta patches introduced ammo tracking this will also be present in DayZ 1.7.2. Then you will be fine. And pretty, pretty please use the search function!

The seattle 67 admins can not reset the central DayZ-server, but their own server only. Their server does not save your tents or vehicles. Your stuff might come back after a restart of seattle 67, if not with a ~90% all your stuff is gone. It might also pop up again after another restart. Anyways: Alpha, central server too full, hackers ... yadda yadda

Not gonna happen. But we might see more bugfixes and security improvements.

You number-fu is pure speculation. Version numbering systems are quite arbitrary.
