It would be nice if people without microphones could still use kind of "voice chat" - player enters text and Microsoft Sam (or other voice synthesizer) reads it so others can hear it. - the voice is like direct chat (area wher it can be heard and that stuff). - player can choose: whisper (1 meter radius) normal speech (5 to 10 meters) yell/shout (30 meters) I think it would be good alternative for players with no mic's. Please tell me what do you think about it, is it possible to make thing like that work?
i was thinking that it would be more realistic if there was no text chat at all but thing that you enter text and it can be heard* at some distance but with some options like there is shouting, whispering and normal speaking(every of them has different radius where can be heard) to choose by pressing some button *see the game "Moonbase Alpha" if you dont know what im talking about UPDATE: If you dont get what i mean, it is like some kind of voice (for example like in google translator) reads the text entered by player.
