I've played DayZ for over 300 hours and haven't shot a single soul. I've came close though many times. I try to keep the Survivor profile so I'm not targeted by either Bandits nor Heroes. Stay a Survivor and DayZ will become very enjoyable :) -

- When smple tasks like going to the grocery store must require complete stealth and extremely high witts of your suroundings. - Thinking that people are Zombies and you start running into random stores to loose them. - When you only buy Canned goods and Soda at the grocery store. -

Getting the Arma 2 complete Collection is really worth it because you have higher resolution textures and because you have the experience of playing the arma 2 games. My opinion get the Complete Collection, its worth it :). -

1. Hold up people and shoot only if necessary. 2. Avoid zombies. 3. Know your Surroudings at all times. 4. While plotting events make sure you have a way out if something goes wrong. 5. Don't underestimate your enemies. 6. Carry only items that are necessary for survival. 7. If caught in a fight do not let any of the opponents survive because they might return when you least expect it. 8. Trust no one. Thats all the Edvice I can give you, its what I do. -

You could just make a playlist of the worst songs you've ever heard, then once you get angry enough from hearing the horrible songs, it makes you want to kill something like a player even more then before. -
