Hello everyone, In this thread I'll be posting my review and thoughs about FPSPLAYERS.COM (DAYZ HOSTING). So let's get started. A bit of info: Rental period - 2 months Server size - 25 slots Price: 15$ per month. Min player count - 0 Max player count - 25 Average player count - 10-15 (When I used Chernarus Map; 1-10 on Namalsk Map) Server location - LA (They're currently support only LA and NY Server). Scores: (In this section I'll be rating on a scale from 1 to 5). Server Performance: There's been some server issues. When I first ordered a server, their servers (located in LA) died for a couple days. The server's been up, but I didn't have an access to the any Control Panel. But! After they solved the problem they added 2 more weeks (FREE) for every server you have, which is a good thing. Plus, server been dying serveral times with unknown reasons.Overall I'm giving a score of 3. Network Performance: Ping from me (Seattle, WA) to their server in LA was jumping from 25 to 70. Loading speed is pretty fast. For people from other countries ping was jumping from 150 to 400. So my final score is 4. Control Panel: They are using just a tipycal control panels, where you can administrate your configs/files, restart your server and etc. Also, they're using DayZ CC which is a good thing. BUT! I had some issues with showing vehicles on the map and other stuff that they didn't know how to FIX! And this is awful. Overall score is 3. Access to Files: I think you have pretty much full access to their files, where you can install additional scripts and plugins by yourself. Overall grade is 5. Customer Service: Well, first of all - I think there's only one guy working there, lol, because only Sean (thats his name) was replying to my tickets. In the beginning he was replying pretty fast. But after a while it was taking him days to reply. What mostly annoyed me - is when I was asking for help, he was asking dumb questionions and playing for time. Then when I asked them for help to install something for me, he said ok, but after few days he forgot about it. The Customer Support is awful. SEAN! HIRE MORE PEOPLE! DON'T BE A D(8====)K! Overall score is 1. Setup time: It took them at least 3 hours to complete an installation. Plus after they installed DayZ server on their server it wasn't working properly, so they had to look back which took them additional 1-2 hours. Score: 2. Average score: 3 ------------------------------- What maps do they support? - Chernarus - Lingor - Panthera - Takistan - Taviana And that's it! So I had to install Namalsk myself. They didn't help me at all! ------------------------------- What did I like the best? Price. 15$ for a month is pretty good deal. Plus they're giving you free Teamspeak server for 10 slots with each new server you order. Free is always good. What did I like the least? Customer Service. Awfull customer service. Only 1 guy working in support, really? Almost no help at all if you're installing some other maps/scripts/addons. My final thoughts: I think FPSPLAYERS are just a begginers. They're not that experienced as other hosting companies, and thats why they're getting so screwed so often. I don't recommend using their hosting since they're missing more than a half of DayZ Maps and their customer support sucks balls. :emptycan: I had so much pain in my butt with this hosting, and now it's a time for a change. I'm switching to the HFBSERVERS, since people say its a good hosting company. :beans: Thank you.

Hey guys, Maybe everyone who uses or used HFBServers hosting knows that they don't have either Forums or TeamSpeak where you can get help or communicate with other HFB customers; and sometimes (or usually) it takes forever to support to reply to your ticket. And it's pretty weird that such a big hosting company doesn't have forums. I like HFB a lot, their machines are monsters, but support or at least customer communication is really important thing. Since I host DayZ Server and I know pretty much everything about it I decided to make my own "thirt party" forums for HFB customers. Please welcome: http://www.hfbforums.us/index.php I'm not planning to ask people pay me, or either post advertisement there. It'll be forums where anyone can get help. If you wish helping me, please email: ata@berdyev.com or either message me on skype: denver_ltd Thank you.

Use DayZ Taviana (DayzLand.eu) version. It's pretty similar to Origins.. oh well, it is a bit similar.

Sup folks, http://berdyev.com/w...6/preview_2.png Here’s the program I coded for my DayZ Namalsk Server, which converts X and Y map coordinates into Database type, so you can input two values and get full Database type code. (For ex: [0,[2300,7200,0]]). More information about the program and download page is here: http://berdyev.com/db/60 Please be aware! This program is developed for Namalsk only! I will try to update it and add more maps and features as soon as I can. I also working on Easy PHP Admin panel, for teleporting and changing loot for server admins. I will be releasing it in close month. Thank you c: LOOK FOR UPDATED VERSION BELOW!

[HOT] DayZ Namalsk Coordinates Converter
berdyev replied to berdyev's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Sup folks! :) Today, I’m going to be releasing updated version of DayZ Namalsk Converter (Click on it!). I changed the name to DayZ XY Converter since it can convert three different coordinates from three different maps at the time. When I was coding this program, first I wanted to make a drop list with maps, where you can choose yours; but after a bit of thinking I got a great and simple idea of converting each XY coordinates for every map at the time. It’s simple, and it works! :) For more informations how to use and where to download please click here: LINK To request more features please leave a comment below c: Thank you! -
Because. Thread is closed. Give me my beans!
