is the lag that's in dayz from the arma2 engine? it makes close-range firefights an absolutely death wish. it's pretty much impossible to actually kill someone before they have a chance to shoot back due to the lag

was watching a stream last night of someone discussing how they shot down a helicopter and then they rushed to the NWAF to see if it respawned. it had, they repaired it, and flew around blowing shit up(including another chopper flying around) so which servers have these mystical machines??

please turn 3rd person off i love not being able to tell whether im in the crouch position or standing straight. it's so realistic, nobody knows what the fuck their body is doing in real life!

it's a server specific bug completely unrelated to the shock icon or taking dmg before logout. when you get it, switch servers and don't go back till it gets reset. you will need to get epi-pen'd or wait out the 5 min on new server ofc

no you were slightly off after you save the tent for the 2nd time, you must prone and roll around the entire circumference of the tent while chanting "oh long johnson" into your mic

maybe they don't want to go back to a hospital every time a zombie bites them?

just wondering if anyone has any information on helicopters for instance... are they in every server right now, or only a select few? are they currently able to be fully repaired? do they respawn like vehicles at set spawn points, or it is more randomized? and of course, which im sure no one will answer, where the hell are the spawns?! recently found the best land vehicle(military offroad), so now the helicopter is my last mission. any information is helpful

yesterday i opened semi automatic fire from 5 feet behind my targets back. he logged out before the second bullet hit him. script to insta-log on dmg?

you're doing it wrong you can move while you have your "G" inventory menu up. so what you do is right click the tent, hover your mouse over the pitch tent button, then spam left click as you move around. if you move like 10 feet from your original place you'll need to open up your inventory again. this also dupes tents(maybe fixed?)

wondering if anyone knows any good servers with good admins that will actually alert people when the server is going offline for whatever reasons. haven't had access to my tents in over a week because my server admin decided to change hosts or something without any warning. probably wont ever see my tents again, don't want this bullshit happening again

Rocket has said hes working on a global chat "you have to find" so it's probably radios. that doesn't really mean anything. he can put the drop rate as low as NVGs and it would be as barren our current direct chat.

this is seriously an area where enjoyability should outweigh the desire for realism. it just gives far fewer options when playing and sandboxes are supposed to be about letting the player choose what they want to do. no more calling to dr wasteland to come find and give you an emergency bloodbag no more bus drivers picking people up and dropping them where they want to go no more light banter between bored people walking in a huuuge map i could go on but youg et the point

ignore people saying to sneak around zombies, its a complete and utter waste of time unless you feel like crawling everywhere(which to me is the most boring aspect of any game ive ever played before, but thats just me). the aggro range is just ridiculous since 1.7.1.1 best thing is just sprint from building to building and log out and in to drop zombie aggro
