After seeing the tents in Stary and Berzino removed,i got an idea. The quarantine tents should be a random event,having extremely good medical gear and lots of gear like hazmat suits.They would spawn random at one of the bigger cities at predefined places.

I just always run to Berezino,on the way i always find at least one of the axes,and two times i also found a mosin.Berezino usually is barely looted,plenty of stuff there. Then NEAF.

Swords would be an extremely usefull in a zombie apocalypse, because the zombies have no protection, don't dodge and sharpen the sword is easy. I would like them added as a high end melee weapon(with matching scabbard please)

I like the concept,but some this ideas are very immersion breaking. I get the running speed and the small arms, but why should heros have a ballistic vest out of nowhere?

Is the KSVK bolt action? Because than i would be okay with it,especially if the ammo is rare as hell and the gun needs constant maintenance.

Out of personnel interest,where did you find the long range scope?

So if some newspawn with a fresh gun tries to shoot you and misses he should be able to just log out because "let people play how they wanna"? Pleaso rethink your statement.

Why are people arguing about this when there are 1st person only servers?

Except maybe that weaponless newspawns have no chance against these zombies.

You must be a super nice person. Little advice: You don't insult other members here,especially not in your first 5 posts. If the devs didn't fix it yet it has a reason,and if you would read the warnings that this is an early alpha and rollbacks, character wipes etc. are expected you wouldn't need to open a new thread for an open discussed thing.

I heard dolphins can be real douches. Also any predator bigger than a human. But animals don't really have a sense for cruelty,so it doesn't make much sense.

I doubt there is a way to make zombies fun as well as a threat to both geared players and new spawns.

Imagine if you could take a refinery somewhere on the coast, which requires a lot of people to work together but provides a constant fuel supply.

DayZ is just as much of a PvE game as it is PvP,don't make this mistake.

A hunting system is already in the works.Crossbows are planned too. Oh god it would be so awesome if i were able to craft my own all-fur outfit and run around with a crossbow, preying on other survivors.

I was at alot of these places directly after a restart.Did i really just have bad luck?

And i visited ALL of these locations at least once,a lot of them mch more and NEVER found one.

My buddy was hit by a zombie while logging in,very unfortunate.

I must have had very bad luck then,because the only time i found one was at the tents in Balota.

I really like the new spawns,just look at all these tears! But really, you actually need to look for stuff now.Found a Mosin in a house,half hidden in a wall,right after i spawned. And to get military loot i actually have to travel a bit. I hope it stays like this.

Why would that be impossible? Also,i think newspawns would be very thankfull to be able to play at night without having to rely on the flashlight.
