    Dean Rocket Hall's Drinking Game

Nobody is hating it, but when you refresh dayzgame.com for new updates and all you hear about is client/server architecture it gets old and boring. Not only is it common sense to use that architecture in dayz, Arma is almost the only game that isn't using this architecture. It is nothing new nor groundbreaking per-se. Sure it required tremendous effort for them to remove all that trust from client and to make server the main authority (can't even begin to imagine the netcode horrors that appeared after that) it's just nothing special. It's like upgrading computer running Windows 95 into running Windows Vista, sure it's tremendous difference but Windows Vista just isn't anything magically new nor groundbreaking. Eg, BeastOverlord, it is nothing "really" awesome. You'll only get some additional performance client side, you won't see any hackers besides aimbotters and "wallhackers" and huge price increase in dedicated server rentals. (Item spawning was Arma related issue to begin with)
  2. Drink a shot every time Dean mentions "new client/server architecture". Prepare to get hospitalized for alcohol poisoning. Yes i made this forum account just to make this joke.
