  1. Alright thanks, I'll give that a go.
  2. I'm buying my brother arma 2 combined ops today, but I don't want him to have to download the full game from steam, as that will take ages on my slow internet connection. I was wondering if there is any way of transferring my files over to his computer, so that he can use them (we do have a portable harddrive, so getting the files onto his computer isn't a problem). I have thought of one way this could work. start downloading the files from steam, pausing the download, then deleting the downloaded files and putting my already completed files onto his steam folder, then starting the download again. but I'm afraid that if I do this, then will the game still have my cd key attached? I don't want us trying to connect to the same server as me only to find that my cd key gets banned or something. I'm aware you can manually change the cd key, which I don't mind finding out how to do, but when buying the game on steam I don't know how you can see what your cd key is. So my question is: how can I port my arma 2: CO over to my brothers computer with it updating to his newly bought cd key?
