    Fraps sucks. I use MSI afterburner, with settings as: 90% quality (the 10% quality drop is barely noticeable in a youtube video) 1/2 frame 30 fps (Youtube is locked at 29.9 fps). And when recording, I only lose about 5 fps, compared to fraps where my FPS get locked to 30. Also, with MSI afterburner you can monitor and overclock your graphics card, so it's a win-win.

    Back on topic.. Yeah, it looks a bit like DayZ, here and there. But there is much less cooperation in DayZ. For the guys saying the show sucks, I liked the first season, but the 2nd was just boring... [the next phrase is a spoiler] they took 7 episodes to find out that the girl is a zombie...

    So, I logged in, and half a second after seeing the "Setup completed, please wait" message I get the "Respawning in 5.. 4.. 3.. 2.. 1.." and the scoreboard, but I don't get the "You are dead" screen, I got teleported in debug wilderness without any gear and very low FPS. There was also the "MeDuzZ- died" in chat. I switch servers, all my gear is back, I look around, and I am at the coast east of cherno (I logged out near Devil's castle). In the server's scoreboard, it says I died one time. I am happy I still have my hard earned gear, and I don't mind being at the coast again, I just want to know if I'm the only one who got this?     The best setup for a solo player IMO: M4 CCO SD DMR for night sniping AS50 for day sniping Ghillie suit M9SD for a quick and easy zombie takeout without needing to switch your primaries. NVG GPS Rangefinder all the needed tools And at all times have atleast: 2 mags for each weapon (except for the m9sd, I can have more) 2 canteens of water 2 meat steaks 2 morphines 2 painkillers

    Yup, that's exactly it, I find I stick out like a sore thumb in daylight, that everyone and their mothers can see me from miles away, and the ambient sounds are so much louder in daytime.

    Yeah, most people don't like night time, but it is really better IMO (even without NV), zombies don't see you as good, players don't see you as good, people will throw flares, and the environment is so much more creepy.

    Trades go down all the time. I did 3 trades with this character, with 3 different strangers and I didn't have any problems. Once you get over VOIP, get to know each-other a bit it goes down quite easily.

    Can't you take both? Most backpacks can easily hold weapons + ammo + supplies. I am actually rocking 3 weapons with a coyote backpack, and I'm doing just fine on ammo/supplies (I have atleast 2 mags for each gun, 2 drinks, 2 meat steaks, 2 morphines, 2 painkillers).

    Hi, someone traded an m4 holo sd to me for an m107 sniper rifle. I just wanted to know if this gun was legit. There is a holo sight, grenade launcher, suppressor, flashlight. does this mean this gun is hacked? He said he killed two guys on a motorbike and looted them and they had m4 cco SDs and this gun.

    I just witnessed Karma at it's finest. I dropped the gun and literally 2 minutes later I found a downed chopper with an FN FAL NVG scope. <3

    I wanted to ask this to a staff: So a guy traded me an M4 holo SD (it has holo, nade launcher, silencer, flashlight). Is this gun hacked or in the game? Should I drop it?

    Well people say hacked guns are regularly cleaned up. I'll just wait for that to happen.

    This is supposed to be realistic. In real life, your clothes wouldn't magically change after you killed 10 guys.

    Guys, golden guns are not only in CoD. The guys saying "oh cod kiddie" must be cod kiddies themselves for thinking only that game has golden guns. Even in real life some people have golden guns. It is only a reskin that would be very rare. Like mountain dew, it's pointless, same effect as a coke can, but extremely rare. The golden guns along with mountain dew would just be collector items.

    Right, the only thing is, I don't really want to get too close to the event, so many things can go wrong, a sniper who shoots people trying to get to the event, a misunderstanding, etc. I am on your TS server in group 3, can you maybe ask a FS employee so I can meet him somewhere without so much action?

    Hey, does freeside have a GPS and/or an m4 cco sd up for trade? I'd like to trade my m107 and/or an m9sd for one or both of those. Also, I had a small problem with a trade with one of your guys named "Connor". I accidentally deleted a DMR in a trade, he gave me the NVG anyway, I found a new one and I'd like to make it up to him and give him the new DMR, can I give it to another freeside employee for him to receive it?

    This map doesn't have most choppers I have found, it's far from complete, but a good start.

    Try going for deer stands in the wild. Just always look around and zoom in when you run from deer stand to deer stand. Try to look at a map like on dayzdb, and work out a route with lots of opened fields, and run it. You will find choppers eventually, And even if you don't, you'll have all the goodies from the deer stands. I have found atleast 25 choppers this way.

    Yup, FALs are in most choppers I find. Though it's a very good gun, one of my favorites. It feels like an enfield with better fire rate.
