This server is a pretty fun server, first joined it a week or so ago and I haven't played any other server since. we're trying to gain a good player base at the moment, so anyone wanting to find a decent server is recommended to join this one. Desktop or laptop?: Laptop Monitor resolution:1600x900 CPU:AMD A6-4400M APU with Radeon HD Graphics dual core Graphics card:No dedicated card, built into CPU (I know, so bad. :( ) RAM: 6 GB DDR3 SSD: No I know that I can run DayZ mod at a steady 10-15 FPS (how I manage, I have no idea) and I was wondering if I could run the actual game any better, since it's standalone and can be fixed, but the mod can only be optimized so much. Knowing an aproxx FPS I could run at would be very helpful, if at all possible.

Why are you complaining about 30 FPS? I get 10 FPS and I have a great time playing this game. 1st world problems. :rolleyes:

Satchel charges are awesome booby trap makers. Place one in a building, go a little bit away, wait for someone to walk in, and touch off as you walk into the sunset.

But think of all the funny conversations you'd have with people riding along on those hand carts.

Don't shoot on sight. Some people are actually helpful. Just be cautious, and if things get heated, be prepared to get out of there.

Yeah, but what about fresh spawns? Would they just have to run straight north, or do a hit and run for loot in the cities?

Uh, but why? I understand what you're getting at, but why would this be a useful feature that people would actively use?

Generally, one public hive server, and then a private hive server with a bunch of addons and stuff to make the game more fun.

Lol, worm. Anyways. I don't think I'd mind the addition of horses. Maybe you could find tamed horses (race horses or something) that would have specific attributes enhanced, but are more rare.

I saw some guy called seananners play it, and thought it was a game worth getting. Definitely think it is now. C:

You say all this as if the developers don't already know about it and that they won't be fixing it. SA will be insanely different from the DayZ mod. The problem with the mod is it's limited to the ARMA 2 engine, and you can only expand so much. In SA, the devs have free range, and everything will be improved.

DayZ Commander is definitely easier to use than playwithsix, but it only is used for DayZ mods, however, in my opinion everything is very straight forward with DayZ Commander. Playwithsix is more encompassing with all kinds of mods for ARMA, not just DayZ mods, but I personally find the layout more confusing.

Well, one time I watched two people jump off a skyscraper. Another time I was in the barracks, and a bandit came in a spammed his DMR at me and my buddy.

Actually, every time I get kicked for high ping while in a heli, I always get spawned on the ground.
