Like the title says. I searched to see if anyone has mentioned it but nothing. Did the update break the Armory? I use it to fly around the map and find routes to where I want to go. And now all I do is spawn in the middle of the ocean, even if I pick a vehicle.

Is it possible to transfer all my ARMA saves along with my DayZ stuff to my new PC? Actually, I know it's possible, my question is, exactly how would I go about doing that, what files do I need to transfer over to the new one? Any help would be greatly appreciated guys.

Yeah I get that part, but what I want to find out now is how to switch ALL the Steam save files, got too many games to start over in all of them.

I tried moving over the Steamapps folder but it was around 100 gigs. Save files aren't gonna be that big, or is that the only way to make sure the saves switch over?

Well that answers that question. Another question is what do I have to switch over from the old one to the new one to keep all my Steam saves that aren't saved by the cloud?

This happened to me. I had camo suit and once I managed to get in for the first time in 1.7.2 the game asks me for gender and when I started I was on a fresh character, my character was 29 days old before this prompt. About a minute or so into the game the session was lost so I tried another server. This time I spawn in with my 29 day old character and all my gear, but with civvie clothing. So I can tell you firsthand, DON'T use any camo you find!

When I started I played a whole month without shooting anyone, just avoiding people entirely. But people see a dude playing alone all geared up and they don't bother with pleasantries, I got gunned down enough times, in one instance 6 times in less than an hour, to give up on meeting potential friendlies and I just shoot anyone that gets near enough to be of any danger to me. If I see someone far enough that hasn't noticed me I don't bother them. I'm also helping local guys learn the game so I can start rolling with a group sometimes.

This is what happens when people buy ARMA just for DayZ, they think they are installing a CoD or Battlefield mod. BI is not a huge studio and as such the game has it's quirks. This game and it's mods are for people with patience, which you CLEARLY do not have. I can't see it's too blurry whaaaa! How about playing around with settings awhile till it looks how you want it too?

The problem is too many servers havent updated so the updated servers are being bombarded. Until all servers update the dev team won't known what the cause is.

I play solo, i'm literally training local people from where I live that are in the clan I am a founding member of so I can play with them, not an easy feat when most are console tards. I've warned them that the first sign of any hinky shit or shooting each other for fun i'll kill them all and go on playing solo. The point is, don't trust anyone unless you can cock punch them.

I've had both since more or less when they were released, so i'm a multiyear ARMA vet, going back to Operation Flashpoint, I did not buy it because of DayZ. I don't begrudge anyone that bought it just for the mod, just get annoyed when they don't bother to play tutorial on a game with so many keyboard commands.

Bandit skins yes, but not to identify bandits, just cause it looks cool, although I would prefer MARPAT since it blends in better. If you mean bandit skins to identify bandits then no, no no no no no not at all, don't be silly, go ask in your local police station how many robbers, thieves and murderers wear a goddamn uniform.

I like the beginning too, I used to only play mine craft in the first few days when you are trying to survive. Once I started building houses I got bored and would start from scratch.
