I've been playing for a little over a week now and really really enjoying this mod. I've heard people talking about the airfield at Balota as a good source for weapons and loot but every time i go there I can't seem to find much if anything. Is this because of the latest update or? Oh and is there a way to get inside the medical tents with all the deer stands?

Thanks for the heads up guys. Perhaps It would be best to go north then and loot some smaller towns and see what I can find.

Just a quick question. Wondering if DayZ is playable on a Mac as my friend has been watching me play and almost came in his pants but only has a MAC.

Do I just update on Worroms DayZ Updater and i'm done and ready to go?

I've heard people talking about modifying ammo for use in a different weapon if you have a lot of it. I'm always running dry and then finding the wrong magazines so changing it for my weapon would be awesome. If someone can give me a heads up on how to do this it would be great. And also where can I download the latest update? Cheers Also if someone could give me a link to a decent printable map because everytime I try and print one it only prints the west side with the airfield :( Many thanks

I think i've downloaded the correct update and then installed it but when i go into game it has a message over the middle oft eh screen that is barely readable about running the wrong version or something, can anyone help plz?

Hello all, I made a post about a week ago needing help on joining servers, installation etc. It has since dissapeared. I got a few replies and one of them was a tutorial on installing arma, arma oa, beta patch and the updater. I've searched all the stickys and for the life of me i can't find the one tutorial that worked for me or remember who posted it. As far as I can remember it was perfect for me using steam, using the latest beta patch and dayzupdater. The guide also referred to downloading the games one at a time from steam, just his preference. Maybe that will jog someones memory. I am now trying to put it on a different system and can't remember a damm thing. If anyone knows which guide it might be, please post :)
