Thought comes to mind, if you bought a legitimate copy of Arma II: CO through any means, so long as you kept the proof of purchase couldn't you appeal to BiS customer support? That's what I would do if my cd-key was stolen/hacked out. Don't forget these guys run random generators as well.

You didn't have the the debug monitor on did you?

I am done, and so is most of my Clan due to hackers

To the people posting in this thread and all other future QQ threads whinging about OP, don't. Just don't. These threads are more useful than your own QQ'ing about it. If people are signing up to the forum to express a dissatisfied opinion, then that is saying something to the DayZ team. The increasing frequency of these threads is a good indication of max exodus. Imagine how many are not even bothering to find out why and just leaving the game. -
US 1872 PC Gamers.net Both admins cheating

Can't say I've recently seen any footage of scripters using the radio as I have seen months ago. They probably figured out the pattern and filtered it out in scripts.txt or w/e And the only place I've seen people claiming they are legit are on the forums, and I trust everyone here about as much as I could throw them. So until I see some form of acknowledgement from the dev, or links to source, I don't believe it.

Love, friendship, and blind loyalty even if your bro is a dirty, lying, server restarting POS? It is the pony way!

Some people are saying lately that the radio is a very rare spawn. I still don't know about this. I know radios as a tool for script cheaters to trigger functions. So IMO, if your server admin says no to hacked items, I wouldn't want to hold onto this one. Otherwise, if it truly does turn out to be a legit item, then it definitely is one of the rarest spawns.

Why is everybody so satisfied with ARMA2 Engine?
Kra replied to EndEffeKt's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
I think the inventory UI was intentional. I think Arma is aiming to simulate a real experience not just real life. All the little things like breaking limbs after turning in a door or rocks breaking legs can be attributed to having to be hyper aware in and out of combat situations. Sure IRL we just step over that rock, but in Arma there is no little button for "make a large stride", so you guide yourself around that rock. And with the inventory system, IRL are we able to within seconds have that gun out of our bag loaded and ready to go? Having to work around the UI as it is forces a delay that can be attributed to real life delay in rummaging around in bags. -
Poll could use a couple more options. I see side chat as being default on in 'Regular' servers, and off in 'Veteran' servers. With the option to switch on and off of course. Servers need customisation options to stand out in the crowd.

Something that has been on my mind for awhile and only just got the motivation to made a thread about it. I don't think I've seen anyone acknowledge the fact that the little brown menu in the top right of the DayZ UI labelled "Debug Menu" is just that. For debugging purposes. Which implies heavily that this "feature" will not be visible in the finished standalone version of the game. Do you think not having these numerical readouts will change your experience much, if at all? Will not knowing if you're below 8000 blood increase your anxiety within the game? What do you think will happen?
-
Oh wow, I go away for a few hours, come back and theres a patch where you can switch the debug off. Well there you go, ask and ye shall receive lol. Can't wait to check it out, might be good to give server owners an option to force it off. Oh and those few hours inbetween I was watching some shit about time travel and predicting the future and whatnot. :|

Make hacking LEGAL - read before rage
Kra replied to TheMachine's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
If that is the case is it horribly ironic that you both share the same love for having pictures of fat men getting their nipples licked as well as having the same terrible troll logic. Dontcha Think? -

IKR? I just like the picture as an avatar because it makes people uncomfortable. Like my alot of my posts... -
Even though this strictly isn't a suggestion thread (I'm looking for opinions on what happens after its gone, not suggestions on what should be added without it). I think that this opens more opportunities for useful tools to be put into the game. Such as, if he does end up doing "classes" (people who are specialised at certain tasks in game) medics could have a blood pressure cuff and actually be able to read how much blood you have/need.

Am I the only one noticing the trolls both have pictures of fat people having their nipples licked? I say "trolls" but I mean "troll". Can you moderators not see posters IP's or something? -
Blood is shown by the colour of the droplet icon. Humanity used to be an icon, but looks as though he might be making this a hidden value. And being able to see zombie count on a server doesn't make sense in a live game, so no to this. I don't think we will be able to see numerical values by release.

I like this picture. Because, like most of my posts, it is uncomfortable to look at.

Surprised you didn't delete /system32 and got on the floor.

Trap. Take that as you wish.

Will Green Mountain be in the standalone?
Kra replied to Darky1307's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Just to confirm what others have said (really don't know why I'm reiterating, noone seems to read the actual informative posts up top), yes it will still be in there. Chernarus will be the first map available in the standalone. They are currently improving it, working title "Chernarus Plus", adding more buildings able to be entered etc. So no, it probably won't be exactly the same. I'd like to see that ladder going further up the transmission tower usable, if I so choose that my character do a swan dive into the dirt, I'd like it to be from the top of that tower :) So disappointing to see that ladder yet unable to climb up there :( -
Yes. It is that mountain. (EDIT: And I normally run around there glitch free. This happened after alt+tabbing back into the game (my gfx setup is a bit weird, for some reason mine refreshes "Receiving..." every time I alt+tab) and I got rid of it by flushing a few times and another alt+tab)
-
It was a month ago. Quit necroing old threads to troll please.

If you really do want to know, no. It isn't an easy fix. DayZ is probably chewing so much of the engines memory that floating point variables relating to static models are getting overwritten/corrupted. The fact that he's already tried at least 2 different approaches so far also says this isn't an easy fix. I managed to get some interesting behaviour out of the artefacts; ------- Sometimes flushing/changing video options (essentially doing the same thing, the problem here is memory not being written/read correctly) won't fix it. Try a few times, alt+tab out and back, try a different method, eventually you will get the area you are in clear without artefacts.

If it truly is an IP ban, did you try resetting your modem?
