Go play the original DayZ vanilla with no added stuff. Decent guns are rare and vehicles are SUPER rare. Took me a month and I remember finding my first car, a lada. I nearly cried :lol:

Looting on low population servers

If you are reffering to server hopping at Military spawn locations, I would say no. I look at it as a cheap way to get gear. All the noobs server Hop balota airfield for gear. I see it happen almost EVERY time i go there. Be original and run to NWAF where the real action and loot is at. -

If your server is high traffic enough, you can reel in a good amount of donations. My servers usually reel in around $500-$800 a month. $250 of it goes to host the servers. And I usually spend around $150-$200 for other programs that help the servers. Which usually leaves me a net worth between $100-$200 to do with what I please as long as nothing happens. I never ran servers with the intention to "make money". We just wanted servers that could be fun,we never had the intention to make money. We're already expanding outside of DayZ, and we hope if our donations expand, we can host more servers. (Btw, im not a kid, im 24) ;)

First of all, Get a good AntiHacks, Infistar is pretty good. If you don't, hackers will be all over your server spawning in jets and turning people into cows. I personally Hate renting out single Game servers, they are pretty annoying. I reccomend renting a virtual machine, but they cost alot for the great performance they offer. I pay $230 a month from mine. I rent it from NFO servers, check em out and good luck. Getting a server up isn't the hardest part, getting it populated is.

Currently Dream Fall is numbered as one of the top 50 Dayz Servers. We run 3 servers currently. 2 Epoch Chernaraus and 1 Epoch Panthera. We are looking for 1 more Person who knows how to Code for DayZ servers and scripts to help ease the burden of our other scripters. As we (Believe it or not) both have Real lives to deal with and we can't always devote our attention toward our servers. Our servers range from 20-50 Players on average constantly. We recently opened up a dayz chernarus server going by the name of Dream Fall, Heres the IP 67.228.177.73:3289. We are looking for a few moderators since we are not always on to watch the server. You need to reset the mission PBO on the control panel, only way to get the server to work. But this will also reset all your scripts you have added on also -
