When Svetlo was first released, a bunch of us on Experimental joined up to check it out. There was no loot spawning at the time, and we all went there not knowing this. Not only that, hunger and thirst was more than a bit 'overzealous', and everyone was dying very quickly from starvation. So what happens is the development of a very unique situation, where five seemingly friendly players begin to starve to death. Until finally, things take a turn for the worst, and those same friendly people turn evil... An incredibly grim moment in my DayZ adventures for sure. EDIT; On a technical note, this was recorded before I purchased a condenser mic and separate HDD.

Thanks for all the feedback! Never found them. I died of hunger trying to run for NEAF or Krastonav. Not only that, those reactions I was having were real. I couldn't understand at first... I was truly shocked. lol I have force fed my friend a bag of rice before. It force feeds the whole thing in a matter of seconds. lol

This video is about total immersion. Put on your headphones and feel what it's like to be hunted... It was filmed in a full Hardcore server. I've taken the microphone track out, and put a low long note for suspense. It just didn't feel right without music. I was coming from a long lone-wolf stay in the north, looting and getting healthy. I brought this character from the brink of death because he is the same toon I played in 'The Egmont Sniper' video. To be honest, I thought I was looking at Zelenogorsk in the video. This is how disoriented I was... What else could I have done better? Are there some escape and evade techniques that I could learn to improve a situation like this, in my favour? This was the most exhilarating experience in this game to date: 'Hunting With Hemingway'.

Alright man, here's a fix that was supposedly working for some Redditors: Go into My Documents>DayZ And delete the file that has the word 'vars' in it. The game will create a fresh one. Although some were saying that their controls and settings were back to default. They were saying you should load up into a server fine after that.
