It's a bad idea, use compressed air. It's easy to accidentally damage your PC parts with the ol' hoover.

I've only found one after frantically searching, found it in one of the few loot spawning buildings in the Balota tents. I know they say don't get attached to your gear but I think I'm gonna cry if I lose it.

There's no way to get banned for having infinite ammo, that's why so many people do it. Nevertheless I'd just bury the body and pretend the game doesn't have any exploits.

If rocket actually implemented a gun on spawn I would quit the game. For me it really takes out the survival aspect and basically says "This game is more focused on pvp than survival". Plus, you have your knockers. If you know how to use them those things can take out a geared player with a few punches to the face.

Less than 10fps when recording? You guys really get brainwashed by all the people that love to act like laptops aren't capable of playing with good FPS what so ever. A $1500 laptop can get you rather good FPS, but of course it will drop low in cities.

I don't see a problem with civilian planes/helis, but please no HMG hueys like the mod.

They shouldn't try to make zombies harder whatsoever until they make them actual zombies, not buggy zig-zagging ghost chupacabras.

I was planning on soley playing hardcore when I got DayZ but it seems like 1st person view in DayZ is even worse than in ArmA and it feels so clunky.

It's probably because without loot respawning, people restart their server much more than usual to get it to respawn. I've seen it restart hourly just to refresh loot.

I don't remember the mod ever being able to do this. If someone left their server on for days without restart it's going to have incredible amounts of desync and low fps.

Earlier at Balota I was desyncing so bad it wouldn't let me change weapons or open doors. After all the desync stops, I hear a bunch of zombie growls bunched together then I'm suddenly getting the crap beaten out of me by invisible zombies. Great way to go from healthy to almost dead :C

Hate to be that guy but, "It's alpha". The net code is always going to be shit relatively, but give it a year or two and you'll find that a lot of these issues are going to be resolved or greatly improved. But you are right about the engine limitations, this whole engine needs to be scrapped. If ArmA 4 is still on the same damn engine I'm gonna kill myself.

This happens to the best of us, when you first start playing you will find yourself making stupid mistakes and getting yourself killed. Over time you'll become the one killing these people who make stupid mistakes.

This is already part of Chernarus, it's called Green Mountain. Chernarus is based on a real country.

I don't see how it would work in DayZ. You'd be better off buying ArmA 3, because it doesn't sound very likely. I am very hopeful for an Altis Life Standalone though :D.

It's applicable to any game that involves aiming and shooting. It is simply a fact that a mouse can aim way more precisely than a controller, and if you think aiming precisely isn't an important part of DayZ you might be insane. OT: How does using a controller play out for you, is the game more or less clunky? Also do you not fear that you will be at a disadvantage in firefights?(no aim assist in DayZ).
