I thought this was going to be a topic about people spawning as birds and using it to their advantage by telling their friends where people are.

People pick those nick names just to get a reaction out of people, and that's exactly what they did. They even got you to come to the forums and make a post in discuss, in their mind, that is a success. All you have to do is ignore it, because odds are they are kids themselves. And I hardly think anyone is going to come to DayZ to prey on children, that would probably be the biggest waste of time ever as every time they got close to a child 's character they would be shot or beaten to death by the child. Not to be rude but if you find that disturbing you are a bit of a nervous nelly.

I'm all for incredibly intricate and realistic diseases and medical systems, but getting infected by poo does not sound very appealing. Sure, it's a "survival simulator" but having to take a dump has no real use except for spreading disease which can be done by other means like random coughing and sneezing. If they legitimately add shitting, I'm uninstalling and H1Z1 here I come.

At that distance you want your first shot to count. I usually wait until their not moving and unlikely to move right when i fire my bullet, otherwise they you miss and they tend to serpentine and do all sorts of crazy movements making it near impossible to hit them To compensate for not knowing the range, what I do is aim in the stomach/chest area so if its too high, it will hit them in the head or neck, and if its too low it'll hit them in the legs or crotch. A shot in the leg is better than missing. -
Because you're playing Epoch, a mod based around pvp and hoarding loot.

I think a better way to prevent server hopping without annoying every single DayZ player, they could make it so for 500 seconds when you log into another server you cannot see or pick up any loot at all.

Some guy was camping in the trees at NWAF. If it weren't for the giant blue mountain backpack he was wearing he would have lived that day, and maybe even killed me.

Except there's always a reason. Most of the time they come to the DayZ forums and make up that story in an attempt to get unbanned. Something has to happen to your game like an injection of a bypass or scripts being ran because Battleye doesn't even look at the items in your inventory, it looks at how you got them.

That is completely untrue. Battle Eye NEVER bans for finding something in game, and they even state this to avoid confusion. Anyone who claims they were global banned after picking up an item in game or anything ridiculous like that is just attempting to convince people that he wasn't hacking.

Nothing really. Same old 2 zombies per town that respawn right next to your face, only a few guns, and nothing to do once you're geared but to pvp or hold people hostage. Stay on the mod. -

What do you consider "optimized" performance?

If you have a monitor that supports 130 FPS or more than you very well can see the difference. 30 fps is a big difference, whether its 30 to 60 fps or 260 to 290 fps our eyes can detect it after trying both. The standard for whats considered "Good optimization" is 60 fps at all times with more depending on hardware but I would be happy with 40 fps everywhere. Below that is manageable but not very good, and below 30 fps I get irritated and it takes away from my game play a whole lot. I find it a lot easier to get engrossed in a game when you're getting good frames. -
Honestly,I wouldn't be against an incredibly op weapon like the AS50 TWS as long as there was less than 100 of them in the global loot hive thingy(whenever that is added in) so finding one would make you some kind of god, you could probably sell your account for real money.

It would be cool, but I hope they aren't as common as they were in the mod. If you went to the stary/nwaf area there was a guaranteed 3-5 crash sites within 2km

It's impossible for private hives to exist currently, whether they advertise it as so or not it will still be linked to the public hive. -

Better than the pavilion, but not by much. I'd suggest finding something similar with a dedicated graphics card or putting one in yourself. -
