All these non-bandits say that "real bandits" shouldn't kill everyone, but do some sort of evil prank on their victims or some shit. This is extremely hard to pull off and almost always is a waste of time, I would try to do it if I had the opportunity to but if I were to sit and wait for a chance to do this my DayZ life would be extremely boring. -
Nice sniping man, those guys are idiots for saying you're hacking because you keep finding them when they just keep going on top of Cherno towers.

I'm a hero, some of my friends are bandits, you want me to not be able to play with my friend because we chose different playstyles? It actually creates more interesting gameplay, we usually end up arguing over whether to kill someone or not.

I think it will make people hesitate to shoot less, but people will kill on sight anyways. Sort of dumb having to wear a bandit skin because you killed some guys who cant aim and were trying to kill you.

Shouldn't be a Hero or Bandit skin in the first place, unless they can think up a brilliant humanity idea that will balance it out (not "make people who kill others have blood on their chest, or dirt on their faces").

A shame, the M136 was a really shitty weapon and not really worth picking up, but its fun to find those kinds of items. There needs to be more really rare things that you have to be extremely lucky to find, that aren't very useful (such as the Mountain Dew). -

Did a search, nothing about the KSVK. People are always saying that instead of M107/AS50 there needs to be more eastern weapons.It's always been in the game. It may need some balancing but it's not nearly as op as the AS50. It doesn't use the mil-dot system ,so it is harder to hit targets with, and it only comes in 5 round magazines. I don't know if there is something OP about it, but it makes a lot of sense for this to be in the game instead of AS50/M107. Please comment if you have a reason why this shouldn't be added, cause right now I don't really see anything bad about adding this. I have only ever used this in Wasteland and it seemed a lot harder to use than AS50/M107, requiring actual skill to take down a target with this. Edit: Did a re-search, turns out something was wrong with my first search and people HAVE discussed adding KSVK to the mod, but each topic was simply chatted about and dropped, so I bring forth my topic.

There are viral zombies which have a high chance of infecting you, they can be identified by blood splatters on their shirt and face, I don't know if they do increased damage but it seems to me they do, I've been one-kit KO'ed by them several times and they seem to take 1/4 of my blood with a single hit sometimes. -

I made this suggestion for the mod, not the standalone. I doubt standalone will have any sort of .50 cals, I don't even know if it'll have any sniper rifles at all. .50 cals were widely used as anti-material before they were removed, flying a heli above Cherno was a death sentence in the past. I think due to its limitations the snipers that like to snipe into Elektro would avoid picking these up, as they are harder to use and actually require some sort of skill. The whole reason I suggested this instead of adding a Lapua(which is basically a bolt-action AS50) or re-adding AS50s and M107s is because they aren't nearly as OP and they make sense to be in this part of the world. For someone wanting to camp the coast, a DMR is a much better choice by far.

They never did have log proof of him hacking... and there's no way to hide scripting from the logs 100%, no matter how much money you dish out for a bypass.

I don't even like the fact that people have different skins based on their actions, I think everyone should start out the same each time they spawn in. And there's always gonna be one class that everyone chooses because it's a little bit overpowered, then they're gonna change that class and everyone is gonna complain it's underpowered, then move onto the next overpowered class and.. see what I mean? -

It's a sniper rifle, which is covered in the game, but its a .50 cal which has been removed and I think if they ever re-add a .50 cal the KSVK is the way to go. The AS50/M107 were vastly superior, but this is a similair weapon which is less OP and makes more sense. It does not have a zero function. It does have a realistic reason to exist in this time and location, especially with the current ArmA II backstory. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KSVK_12.7 :D

I don't get why anyone would want your base to disappear with you when you log out. People can simply horde tons of loot in their base, and its 100% safe when they log. You should be able to hide your base, and do stuff to make it more safe from potential looters, but it should never ever be safe. Whenever you log off with a hidden vehicle or a tent full of gear, you should always have that fear that when you log in all of it might be gone. All bases should eventually be found at one point as well, the better hidden, the longer until that day will come. It's odd that your character is 100% safe on log out, but it would be pretty dumb if you could be murdered when logged out, that's just too realistic and probably would be an unsuccessful feature. But there is a different between people and bases. -

Dunno why anyone hasn't mentioned this, but combining magazines is already in the mod and will probably be in Standalone. Simply right click your magazine and hit combine then boom, your magazines are combined for a full magazine. I also don't think you need a mechanic for supressive fire, it already scares the living shit out of people when you spam bullets towards them, and has mental effects on them IRL(at least it does for me). Same argument against people who say we need to add a mechanic that freaks your character out in times of danger, majority of people I know say when they get in a firefight in DayZ they become scared and full of adrenaline. -

No classes, please no classes. This doesn't belong in DayZ. Whole point of DayZ is that you choose your story and what you want to be, that is not dictated by the class you chose. Everyone should have equal powers, and the only reason you should have an advantage over someone is because you have better gear. -
Rust is just a buggy browser-based game where you build a house and guard it until next server wipe. I don't think it'll be real competition against DayZ for a really long time. Good idea, not a good game right now.

That's pretty cool, I don't know if it is do-able in the mod but this would be great for Standalone instead of people magically seeing the markers you put on your map throughout the whole server.

I still enjoy Frankie's content even though it is quite clear that he ahem... improves his performance in a non-legit way. As much as I dislike hacking his DayZ videos and other gameplay footage make me happy.
