Yeah well thanks for confirming things guys atleast i know the problem isnt my end. I thought things would be alot better with the new patch as the patch notes said something like 50% better performance but if anything its 50% worse than 1.7.1.5 . I might even roll back the server tonight :S

lol nothing has changed apart from the new patch. I had no trouble with FPS or desyncs so bad before 1.7.2

Everything was alot better on 1.7.1.5 servers, theres nothing wrong with my ISP and the servers i play on i have like 15ms. Anti Aliasing is off and post processing. settings are set to minimal and i run a 980x @ 4.5ghz and two 4gb 680GTX in SLi

you should need to take a leak every so often also.

latest patch messed alot with lag and fps all servers running 1.7.2.3 are fucked. you will get massive desync and massive fps loss resulting in a nice jerky fucked up game world still is fun tho!

90% of people i meet dissconnect at the slightest hint of danger. bit of a game breaker at the minute. :S

they come back on a restart. just like wire fencing, tank traps, blown up vehicles. All magically repair themselves on a restart. obviously dont know what your talking about.

Had a British Air Force - Offroad before the patch it has disapered now. Have they been removed from the game or is there a bug with them?

Yeah the other vehicles are there mate its just the BAF and no restarts dont fix the BAF Offroad. Im aware sometimes all vehicles and tents vanish on a restart sometimes, they come back after another. But its not select vehicles its either all of them or none of them. I can Just confirm the BAF Offroad is gone im not sure about any others

Same mate didnt get a choice. I had kept 1.7.1.5 until things were fixed. Got forced an update at around 9pm BST I wasnt even home and server was down for an hour or so. When i got home the server had updated itself :| now the BAF vehicles are gone...

Shame we had loads of gear in the BAF oh well. Maybe has something to do with the normal Arma II vehicles being banned now when the server loads up so hackers cant spawn them in. I guess something messed up and the BAF Offroad is now a banned vehicle Has it gone on your server aswell Jai ?

Yeah it was there in 1.7.1.5 our server updated tonight to 1.7.2.3 and the BAF is gone. Noone stole it they didnt have time to. An ATV is there so i know vehicles are working just the BAF seems to have dissapeared. Let me know if yours is there mate

Have they accidently banned this vehicle with the rest of the new anti script in vehicles?

I once hit a sniper from near the hospital at berezino in the middle of the nite pitch black. He was well over 500m away. I fired 3 shots, the 3rd one dropped him. Id say the rifle is one of the most accurate in game and one of the nicest to have, the only thing better is the silenced version.

they spawn in med boxes, they also spawn on the floor. all the ones ive found are from berezino after blowing the front glass and checking all the ones inside. You will never find any when you need them. Stash your gear in a tent and kill yourself -

So arnt all servers getting more and more bogged down each day, a few weeks from now pings will be even worse and desync to hell? Tents never dissapear, even if the person that owned them has died multiple times and weeks have passed. I remember reading on the DayZ wiki tents should dissapear 2days after the person who owned them died. Has this ever been the case? Tank Traps, Barbed wire - the same. What happens in cherno and elektro when there is total spam of barbed wire everywhere? Right now if someone drops a tent and picks it up again, the tent will still be there. Some servers i join are laggy as hell and i think this must be influencing the server performance big time. Not only that but vehicles will never die either. If one gets blown up they wont spawn again they will just get magically fixed on a server restart. Vehicles normaly last about 3days on a new server before they are stashed either off map or all atv's hidden in trees etc. People have no chance. How about we fix some huge bugs instead of adding more crap like bear traps and other useless items.

remove them and they just come back on a server restart. Every tent ive ever put up in the middle of nowhere is still there. server restart magicaly brings everything back nothing dissapears. EVER.

Same thing happened to me a few times. Once i was 200 km away from our camp, fixing up a hilux totally the other side of the map when my friend says on TS whos that in the camp? we were like i dunno noone else is online, shoot him - we didnt beleive him thought he was messing about hes abit of a joker! So he shoots the guy and BAM i die out of nowhere 200km away. The body dissapeared straight away. I was able to make it back to my body in time the one that died over the other side of the map. Was that the longest shot in history? Shot from 200km away with an AK. Should i phone the guiness book of world records?

The worst kind of DC'ers are the ones that shoot at you, miss, then shit themselves and logout. Please fix the insta DC button its retarded. Took almost 8years for EVE to fix logging out, hope this doesnt take as long

People saying they dont get any desync issues mainly play solo and dont realise its only playing with other people / survivors where you notice the terribad lag and desyncs. For all the posters saying what desync? it must be your connection. I guess your all solo players and dont have any friends. Either that or your just trolollolololing

So there i was in Elektro minding my own business not really giving a fuck. Just blasted about 30 zombies in the firestation with my AK, carry on towards hospital/school/supermarket. Go towards the red brick building about to head inside when boom 2 shots from an M1911 takes me down to about 7k HP and bleeding, so i run inside and bandage. Take a look around and realise the little faggot had tried to shoot me, realised he hadnt killed me then shat his little pants and ALT F4. You kind of people are the worst kind. And the funny thing is your the kind of people that when all these little bugs are fixed and measures in place to stop you doing just that you will be crying your little eyes out on the forums. Whining and saying your going to quit the game ETC. So many idiots that play this game, all you can do is disconnect if things dont go your way but you will gladly shoot someone in the back and then moan and cry if you get shot. Server hop to get your gear, dupe your items. Hack. Anything you can do - other than play it how its meant to be played. Feel sorry for the console generation of gamers, dont mean to be stereo typical but you kids really need to grow some balls. Shouldnt even call yourself gamers your a dissgrace to humanity. Anyway DeliT - come back on the server anytime you have the balls too.
