LAN server? So you accidently downloaded the LAN version of dayz? Slipped on the download button then accidently put it inside SPMissions folder. Or You without realising somehow connected your Network to a server that was running the LAN version of DayZ and acciddently set your arma mission browser to LAN i know i know right you must have slipped on the mouse button that selected it. Then without realising you accidently joined an internet server and omg your character was gone? right

Remove it until its fixed. Right now its glitching people out, you cant see nothing around the area where its placed sometimes up to 500meters away from it. For example there was some placed across the front door of the north most shopping mall in berezino, yet you couldnt see anything around the hospital or anywhere near there the whole screen was glitched. Its so bad at the minute its game breaking . If you want to play base building like its Sim Camp and play happy survivors with it all day long thats fine. Aslong as it works and doesnt glitch everyone out.

I agree tho if it actually stopped zombies or served any purpose at all apart from blocking entire buildings off and glitching everyones graphics. Atleast remove them from the game untill there fixed. Hell the BAF Offroad Land Rover was removed without a word or explanation and that had 1million more uses than barbed wire.

Glad your taking it so well, wouldnt be dayZ without stuff like this happening. We spent all evening repairing a chopper getting it going flying it around some. Then i go afk for 10minutes come back and my mates crashed it in the middle of some woods. Everytime we kill it, it just comes back there its stuck there forever :)

yeah this happened to me, its fucking annoying as i had better gear than that shit anyway..... AS50 sucks. I had an M24 M4 with grenade launcher, then all of a sudden i have that shit and lost all the gear i had. Fucking hackers ruin the game, had to ban so many people tonight after them spawning SUV's, Police cars, Weapons, Teleporting around activating the same old scripts. It gets fucking boring.

dieing or living has nothing todo with a server restart. Its if its saved to the hive or not. Ive had it sometimes where its bugged ive died and when i came back i spawned where i was 2minutes ago with the same gear? Even going thru the process of about disconect to the lobby and click ok to come back in. Even though i died. That happened in 1.7.1.5 but not since that patch. Ive heard of restarting servers to repair vehicles but not to cheat death. IF you --------------------------------------------------------(blanked out) you can cheat death sometimes as it wont save your death in the hive. Ive managed to avoid getting killed by a hacker that way. Restarting the server wont do shit.

they are in game yes, we found one and it didnt spawn at a known location such as Rog castle, the airfields or cherno roof tops. My guess they seem to be spawning at new locations.

which screen? you join a game? 1.you mean the screen where u choose which number survivor you want to be? you actually get into a server? 2.or you mean in ArmA II at hte server browser screen? If its point number 1 make sure you allow ArmA beta through your firewall. Everytime u put a new beta patch on you will need to allow it again. If my guess was wrong could you please be more specific on the exact problem and people will help you for FREE. you can pay us in Beans :)

@Vipeax Is the BAF OFFROAD back ? wheres my land rover. If so will be back at the point where it disapeared in 1.7.2? or will it spawn again at green mountain busted up and empty?

its been in closed testing awhile its now had a public release for about an hour. My server wont be updated untill 2nite. p.s how do you know its epic if youve not even played it. theres probably 20 things it broke for the 10 it fixed.

where did u find that list ?

server will have @hive in the mods list on the in game browser. If the server doesnt have a country code and a number it isnt in the main hive.

try looking at the floor. and another tip you wont find one in the middle of the road or the forest.

hackers dont want to accomplish anything apart from fucking up your good day. That is an accomplishment to them, not achieving anything in the game apart form that. thats why they play. Why else would they raid your tent and steal your vehicle...when they can just spawn anything they like. And yes there is hacks which shows, every person, every tent, every vehicle on the map or on screen with a distance next to it. They can also teleport straight there, invisible + god mode on. they can also break your legs / kill you at the click of a button from anywhere on the map.............................................. its a shame it does ruin the game for everyone who plays it.
