so i found a 4x4 jeep green camo one. It needed everything. I had 1 wheen and fuel tank parts on me, i repaired those while i was there. I saved it then left in search of other parts, when i was about 1k/m+ away i heard a loud boom like a grenade going off in the distance... After about an hour + searching i returned to the jeep with 3 wheels and a jerry can full of fuel scrap metal and window screen. Except the jeep was burnt out :| like it was the explosion i heard. Had someone found it and blew it up? seems abit random, i must of only left it 5minutes before the explosion. And why would they do that? Just to piss me off lol :) i guess... but could it be a random bug and the jeep just blew up what do u think ? has it happened to anyone before?

or the ability to booby trap the car. If someone trys to take it. BOOOM!

Yeah the build is fucked. Alot of servers are having trouble and seem to be max 10fps. 1.7.1 or 1.7.1.1 has the same FPS issues.

Its no.1 on Steam and has been for the last month. Why on earth would they slash it to half price when it is selling so well? BRAINZ

lewt table is borked., 1million watches no food or drink. cluster of zombies spawning in the middle of houses etc. Once the loot table is sorted this patch was pretty awesome

Batch file doesnt do alot. Still stuck in wilderness, still have all my gear and enough food and water to run out :S il celotape my keyboard down for a few hours later... 4th time in a week ive spawned here i must be doing something wrong when i logout lol.. Cant find the Canada 2 server to test the debug forest theory out it must be down

3rd time its happened to me. Annoying thing is other people spawn there and just shoot you before u load up... I died there earlier with NVG M4A3 CCO etc No biggy tho. Running back to the map will take you 1hour 40minutes - 2hours and 3/4 Food & Water. If you dont have these or have shit gear just kill yourself its easier. Remember guys its an Alpha test dont get all bitch fit when you loose your gear

Some guy shoots me in the wilderness BAM! - DEAD. No biggy i like starting again ive been alive almost a week or so. Fresh start do me good. So i saw the new patch was out, installed it. And start without a gun :D just painkillers and a bandage and i have to say the zombies aggro from miles away but you can get away from them! haha this is awesome! I saw alot of whine threads on the forums about this new patch but i have to say this is the best patch so far! So you wake up in a zombie apocalypse, what makes you think you would wake up armed with a pistol plenty of ammo, morphine bandages and food to last a few dayz? YOU WOULDNT , LOVE the realism this new patch brings and im gonna have more fun getin a little bit of food and a weapon over the next few hours than i have had in the past week fully geared + nvg... LOVE IT :D

Make sure Fraps is installed on your main drive and esp not a networked drive. It will Kill your FPS. The faster the HD the better. And try not to record in a widescreen resolution else it will only give u problems when rendering the video for uploading to youtube etc.

1. Run Steam as Admin 2. Launch ARMA 2 - Now u will not get Bad Serial error 3. Close ARMA 2 4. Launch Operation Arrowhead: Combined Ops In that order. Problem is. There are no Veichles anywhere on the map. The people who live in there moms basement already ran around everwhere collected them and moved them to an off map location where it is practically impossible to find. UNLESS you spent several months traveling with a team of 20 out in the 'desert' to find them. This includes all helicopters and off road vehicles. So what you are doing is, duping all gear out there in tents. All you need is 1 tent atm to make 1000+ same with every other item. So there is no need to come back to the map. Also you are avoiding any zombies or any other player encounter. I mean if you want to play Hello Kitty Online or THE SIMS with your character why dont you just go play those games? You talk about war with other clans thinking your some kind of elite because you were 'organised' grabbed the first helicopter on the map u saw and moved it way off the map. Stealing Vehicles off the map, avoiding any interaction with Zombies and other Players totally removes any DayZ gameplay at all. I mean why are you even playing this game SERIOUSLY? Like there are no other sandbox games out there? Out of bounds of the map should be punishable by death if your out there for longer than a few minutes u should get a countdown. This game and the people that play it get more retarded by the day. Its a shame. Of course they need to fix the spawning in Pre Deployment area first.

People can have toolboxes still if they have been alive since they stopped spawning. I know this because i still have one. They can also have a camp setup with several nice weapons in and easily re-arm after respawning. Unless they spawned a tank on your head or shot you all in the face the same second, i wouldnt jump to conclusions so fast and scream hackers YOUR ALL HAX0rs so fast

For the sake of gameplay. NO This isnt a console game. Why do you think there are so many people here loving this mod? Its not because its easy i can tell you that. IF It took alot longer for you to die and you spawned with a map, compass etc you wouldnt get the same feeling when going into a gun fight. You wouldnt be worried, especially if there was say 5 of you. You heart rate wouldnt increase, there wouldnt be the same sense of loss or worry all the things that go through you mind. It wouldnt be the same experiance at all. I sincerly hope the game doesnt get numbed down at all or made easier for the 'masses' . But i fear the more people that play this mod will cry out for it be made easier, everyday there are more and more whine threads and surgestions to make the game easier. For the sake of Gameplay i strongly diss agree with any of your surgestions and also id like to see a screenshot of your water, leaf and pin needle compass and also how long it took you to make. I bet it would take longer than finding your friend once he respawned.

As far as im aware the Devs have to enable it. Search the forums theres many topics on the subject. Although i thought they enabled it on all servers resently. I could be wrong tho

yeah alot of servers hit the lock button but useualy for short amounts of time and fair play, at peak times the servers can get hammered and it just causes massive lag / desyncs. IT doesnt help when people spam the connect button to try and join, this not only connects and pings the server but also the main dayz database slowing everything down. Spamming the button is no different than DoSing a server when lots of people all do it at the same time. People lock there server to avoid this, normaly for short amounts of time and then unlock it again. 15Minutes is well wthin reason.
