ordered server 24hours ago from vilayer maybe i should of read this post first. Server was showing in the Control panel, but i guess whitelisting takes a few days? I dont understand really it would of been nice just to get a message that said yeah u need to wait for the dayz admins to give you an instance ID and mission file and what is happening etc... I guess there just bogged down right now... Within the last few hours tho the server has dissapeared alltogether and nothing shows in the control panel anymore and i have no server anymore. It was up and running and just waiting for the mission file but now its gone down all together with no notice or any word or anything. Maybe i should of rented one from multiplay, il wait a few more days if i hear nothing or nothing happens i will contact them and get a refund.

Last nite me and my friends found a mega hobo camp Just NW of Kamenka. About 30 Tents. To my friends shock and amazement (hes only been playing 3days) and was like finding aladins cave. In one tent there was around 50 gillie suits. also 5 night vision goggles 5 GPS 10 AS50 10 M107 about 100 M107 rounds 50 M240 boxes of ammo 5 Tents etc and alot more other items.... I take it duping items still exists then lol as tents got wiped in 1.7.5? Seems abit odd that people can find a gillie suit and turn it into an unlimited supply :| Needless to say we took what we could and burned them tents! Actually Battleye just recently banned alot of GUIDs of people that were hacking. Id say quite alot of script kidies got banned last week. Unfortuantly people that make there own hacks and that understand the code and whats going on, or people that distribute that code. Its alot harder for battleye to detect especially with a game that is very easily (to an extent) modable like ARMA 2. Its just the nature of the beast im afraid its not battleyes fault.

also worth a try is alt - tab out of the game, in task manager change the affinity of arma2oa.exe to just 1 cpu then change it back to all of them. Arma can cain just 1core sometimes causing this, its a windows problem and abit random sometimes. Doing this should make it use all cores. worth a try anyway

hiding spots on the west or north edge of the map, on the highest hill for example are all compromised and easy to find. Stashing a small tent or a small atv or something in thick woods in the middle of the map is the only way to combat people looking for camps. Even then id say 40% of people who play this are using Hacks to find vehicles... Untill battleeye actually does a job instead of giving false sense of security. I wouldnt even bother putting a tent up or trying to hide a vehicle, it will be gone in less than 24hours.

only downer about those guns is you only find ammo for them in downed helicopters. plus you will end up going prone near a tree and the tree will kill you or something along those lines. So dont get too attached to your hard on gun.

1. arma 3 or dayz standalone wont be chernarus. 2. its more than a year away. 3. one server, like EVE tranquality and a game like this isnt going to be easy to do thats for sure. Its gonna need to be in the top 10 super computers in the world. 4. its a little early to start thinking up features you would like to see in the game. Lets get dayz 1 fixed first.

a car can drive over them, destroy everything in them. It wont be the first time. wont be the last. dont get to used to your gear or having it. Camps can get found, all your gear gone. You can get killed by walking over rocks, going to close to a tree or just randomly have a heart attack. Ive lost countless gillie suits, nvgs, m4s, bizons, m14s, dmrs etc. Get used to it and start over its more fun than you think.

I was on a server early and everybody on the server got killed :S is a shame about the hacks at the minute its more rife than most other games right now.

ATV's have a small fuel tank in IRL and it doesnt last long, try getting one in RL and driving 100k see how many times u need to fill it
