    Looking for Group

We're a group of Survivors, mainly play Breaking Point -- could show you how to install it? We never kill fresh spawns, but in the north, it's usually a warzone, or we'll let people pass at times. There's about 10-11 of us atm -- if you want s'more info just let me know! [and yes, we're somewhat serious :) ]
  3. [Extreme Survival] Server Review: biokemisten's Extreme Survival server is something unlike anything I've seen in the past. Being a long-time DayZ player it's nice to get a new side to things. I also must say that I've never seen owners so focused on making sure everything works well. On my First Day playing, my first time spawning in was a rush, epic music (from 28 days later I think?), and being dropped in from the sky, with enough time to deploy my parachute before landing on the ground. This is truly an experience unlike any other! (No, you weren't just dropped by a hacker into the air :) ) This also was coincidentally the first day that the server was in fact online, with a few issues plaguing the server, I was a bit worried, yet within a day, the issues were fixed, and with that, so many other great things have come to the server since then. Base building intrigues me, yet as I am still working on setting up somewhere, I cannot comment on this much, besides the fact that I can't wait to check it out! NPC Helicopters and AI groups heavily add to the immersion. This gives off the feeling that the Zed apocalypse has only recently begun with groups attempting to take back the cities, with the select few going mad from the event. NPC Helicopters You can actually shoot them down, a pal and I have first-hand experience of this. :) If you are a bandit, they will GUN YOU DOWN, which we also have first-hand experience of, in an SUV at that. :P If you are in a city like Cherno, Elektro, or Berezino, there will most likely be helicopters that fly in, and with those helicopters, AI groups. I have seen walking AI groups in Elektro, Helicopter-accompanying AI groups in Cherno, and a blue van (AI Group) that drove into Berezino, all of which seem dynamic and greatly add to the experience. Hero AI can be found at the coast, these guys are trying to take back Chernarus, sent in, in squads of 3-5 thus far, these guys shoot at anyone veering towards banditry NOTE: When you kill these guys your murder count goes up and your humanity goes down! You are able to give these Heroes bloodbags from what I have seen thus far, which helps boost your humanity. A pal of mine was playing earlier and tagged along with the AI for a bit as they took out Zed in Berezino. Finally, IF you are not wanting to be a bandit, DONT SHOOT THESE GUYS. Bandit AI can be found further north, even up to the NWAF, yet as I have not yet had much experience, I can't say much except that they are definitely a force to be reckoned with. Final Note on (Hero) AI: These guys don't have the best of the best guns, you won't find M107's, Thermal AR's and the lot, but you will find M16A2's, CZ550's, etc. I am overjoyous to say that Animated Chopper Crashes now are implemented and working! When I first saw one of these things crash and heard it crash, the first thing that went into my head was "HOLY ****"! The chopper crashes greatly add to the immersion (and who doesn't like some great loot)! When you watch the chopper plummet from the sky in a ball of fire, you won't believe your eyes. Ultimately: The server is definitely getting there, I am astounded at the progress so far, with the server owner always open to suggestions, there is definitely a great connection to the community here. With new players rolling in and several deciding to stay, there is no doubt a well-rounded community is already forming up! If you haven't checked out the server yet, I suggest that you do, even if barely anyone is on at the time (late hours), that won't stop the immersion for a moment!
  4. @TheRisingDead Hey! You've got a typo in your introduction message! ServerIP port# is 2332, not 233 as you stated above :-) Also I'm greatly interested in checking out the server, I intend to hop on in 45 mins or so ^^
