on the plus side it`s far better to crash a heli on the arma tutorials then in dayz because you don`t want to crash such a rear commodity in to the the side of a hill.

Welcome to Dayz Merek. do a bit of research on some of mods and see what appeals to you check youtube ect. my personal favorite is dayz origins it`s definitely worth a try. so have fun and good luck :)

yes I am interested me and my friend are looking to team up with some people to build a hero fort since the new patch is out today. a bit of info for you I am 27 years old and my friend is 36 and we both live in the UK. so if you and your cousin are abut the same age as us and play in the same timezone then we would me more then happy to team up with you guys.

hey k1mzor I am new to the game aswell. I have been playing on origins mod about two weeks now so here`s a few tip`s. no.1 killing zombies give`s you humanity point`s no.2 A.I helicopters patrol the map and will kill you on sight if thay see you no.3 the island to the north east of the map is salvation city/sector b it is heavily guarded by A.I npc`s that will kill you if tha`y see you. but it`s worth the risk going there because of the great loot to be found. no.4 if you see a zombie wearing an orange jump suit about the map. his name is doctor dr ivan he is not like regular zombies he is very hard to kill so don`t attempt to do so unless you have the fire power. he is worth kill as sometimes he has great loot on him. I could go on forever with tips but here`s a link that will explain everything better then I ever could. http://www.dayzorigins.com/ it`s all about personal preference in my opinion origins is the best dayz mod. but you will just have to try it for yourself and see what you think. I would be more then happy to jump in a game with you and show you a few things if your interested send me a message.

to my shame I did this yesterday I was at the top of one of towers in a castle. I wanted to take a look around with my binoculars. so I pressed what I thought was the B key I had actually hit the deadly V key so I vaulted over the edge of the tower and face planted in to the ground. :(

can someone please recommend a good server for new players. i have had the game about an hour so i haven't a clue what am doing lol. i have been shoot and killed twice when i didn't even have a weapons to defend myself. any help would be gratefully appreciated.

yes i have set up a base camp to the far north. i have an off road jeep a tent and and a stash of weapons. so life is good at the moment. :)

I have found a good noob sever. I got my first kill today he was a bandit. lol there`s a few more of them on the sever so am going bandit hunting. :)
