I should now add a thought that my display drivers are not working with the game properly. I downloaded Windows 10 and was able to get the game working to the point of "waiting for host" without tabbing out and not letting me back in. After a while it crashed and said my display drivers stopped working. I tried launching OG Arma 2 and got to the menu. Went into boot camp to test, but after a minute it crashed and said display drivers are not working. What's also weird is it says these are running 32 bit under my task bar when I have a 64 bit system. Why?

Trying to play DayZ. Every time I launch the game, I get the intro screen, DayZ logo, "waiting for host", and then the game tabs out and won't let me tab back in. I can still hear it running. I should mention that I just wiped my computer due to problems and just redownloaded the game . Never had these issues before. I'm using a 720p monitor that has some odd resolution defaults on my computer, but raptr says the game's resolution is set very similarly. So I don't know why thia would be happening.....

My friend cannot join any OverPoch servers. It takes him to the lobby screen then forces him to the menu. All of his stuff is up to date, right parameters, everything. What should we look for? Or should we just do a clean uninstall and reinstall the game.

I'm having a problem when joining this certain Day Z Overpoch server. I haven't gotten OverPoch to work until just recently, so I haven't tried very many servers. I was able to get this certain server to work at first, it then disconnected on me from a server restart, then I took a break, came back... And now I get this error message every time I join this server. I could move on and forget this server as I don't have a problem joining other servers.. But I want to know what causes this error for future references.

Don't know what I did but I fixed it aparently. Went to the install menu and it said to update Day Z Commander. Did that and put in parameters from this video. Now it just decided to work.

Trying to join a OverPoch server always results in "Bad version, server rejected". We have the right parameters I believe (although I would appreciate someone pasting their parameters they use just in case). Joining sevrers without OverPoch work, I just don't know what could prossibly be causing this.

Uninstalled the OA Beta. It was causing problems with the versions and updatesever since gamespot shutdown and I could play on any servers.

So after the whole fiasco of gamespy's shutdown messsing version numbers up.... I was able to get the game working again. But now it seems I still cannot play OverPoch. When I join a OverPoch server it says bad version server rejected, even though it works fine on everything else. I have the right parameters, right version numbers, Overwatch AND Epoch. And still I cannot join a server. Suggestions?

Yes I set the right parameters, have both Overwatch and Epoch up to date. Arma is up to date. Vanilla dayz and other individual mods work, but not Overpoch. Any ideas?

I know him personally and the update that rolled out for Arma 2 screwed up the gamefor a lot of people. When i told him to reinstall OA and delete the beta (as that fixed it for me) he gets a black screen now, He's not retarded and he has played the game plenty.
