Three things: My initial though on reading that: what the hell? Secondly, when someone brought up days of the week, it raised a point of maybe he'll hand out x keys per day Thirdly: here we go again, Train's pulling out of the station, CHOO CHOO.

STACK OVERFLOW I'm dead now. I will never get to play SA because of you. I hope you're Happy. You monster.

Ever thought to ask why people do this kind of thing? Or "What if he's right, though?"

It's been a long-fought battle. As a long-time lurker and someone who rarely posts, I can say with the utmost confidence that it has been a long, grueling battle, filled to the brim with disappointment and lies. But now, we can finally get the long-sought-after DayZ Standalone. For without it, my ambition to play or do anything undead-related may have faltered altogether. For this, I thank you. Not for agreeing with me, but for the hope that one day, we will be able to meet up in the massively improved Chernarus and go on many jolly cooperations. The best of luck in the remainder of the ride. And may you have beans for a thousand lifetimes. The same goes for every single other soul clinging to this release for as long as it's been a possibility. For this, I say our ride is almost over. The last rest stop on the hype railway is afoot. Choo choo, my friends. Choo choo...

I know I am contradicting what I literally just said, but Maniak has a point. in that people have felt this since 2012. However, contradicting myself yet again and that being said, it feels stronger than ever this time. even more so than the massive Nov 5th conspiracy last week.

We all feel it. Deep within our skeleton bones. The surge of SA is coming.
-
So, tonight being at 1AM? Tonight's the night.
-
G-guys... could it be? could tonight be the night? (ESB for the win)
-
So, a bit off topic, but F5ing this page... your constant edits are confusing the everloving hype out of me.

S1ippery Jim @S1ipperyJim39m 2012 @rocket2guns "It [Dayz SA] has to be out before the end of the year...we've committed to it...there's no 'we hope it is'; it has to be" Details Dean Hall@rocket2guns@S1ipperyJim "... to meet our objectives" context is important when quoting. And just as night follows day, we didn't meet our objectives Don't know if anyone felt like sharing this or not, so here.

Quick status update for week 8 November
Mathos (DayZ) replied to rocket's topic in Mod Announcements & Info
I play 15-20 FPS constantly. C'mon, son. -
people have been throwing the 12th around, not sure what their reasoning is, though. (been lurking the past few days but haven't said anything)

So by now we've all heard of the update soon to release that is changing a lot about DayZ. You can check it, if you haven't already, at http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/103845-rolling-changelog-for-community-builds/ Also, in an unofficial update hype thread, much like this one, R4Z0R posted (From http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/132982-new-patch-coming-soon-to-dayz/page__st__340 ) So what I want to know is, What's your favorite part(s) about the update? And maybe some not-so-pleased-with parts. Personally, I'm having a hard time deciding between the Attachment crafting, Visible vehicle/tent inventory and the Infected Camps. Not so much liking the idea of starting with a weapon again. Also, I'm on the fence about the return of the old bandit skin. It's great and all, but bandits were enough of a problem as it was. Now, coupled with starting with a Makarov and the badass bandit skin returning, there's sure to be a MASSIVE influx of banditry. But that's just my opinion. I want to hear yours. GOGOGO!
-
I saw in the patchnotes for the next update that for Male models, the old bandit skin is coming back, as I'm sure you all have, however, I was not around for the era of that skin, would someone mind uploading a screenshot,or at least redirect me to one, so I can know how to feel about it? Thanks.

I kind of figured, but still, no add to the call, odd considering how everyone is saying that there's no one testing.
-
I'd test it if he added me to the call :P added both R4Z0Rs because I didn't know which was him, haha

Mine is actuall a tie between good 'ol Chernarus and the massively unappreciated Lingor. Chernarus for gameplay, but as for eye candy, you simply can not beat the beauty of Lingor.

A few months ago, while browsing through the Character Select customizer for the very first time, when I noticed the very large amount of Face/playermodels you could choose from. And, after looking through them all, I decided on the one I liked the most, as I'm sure all of you did (assuming you didn't just go with the default/picked a random one). I'm here to ask three little things: What are your favorite faces and why? Plus any particular Glasses? Let me hear you all! Personally, mine is Mr. Sadat N. Mainly because I always saw myself, had I ever been in a Zombie Apocalypse, as the friendly, wise old man, who can still prove to survive the tightest of squeezes, then eventually sacrifices himself for the good of his group. I debated the Reading Glasses, as they make anyone look 1920s Engineer-ish, which I feel is my main role in every group I get into. But I decided against it.

Why playing A2OA *before* DayZ helps you be a better bandit
Mathos (DayZ) replied to applejaxc's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Or in my case, a better counterbandit. But yeah, thanks, now I feel confident in Cherno, beans for you! -
Would you kill a fresh beach spawn? Part 2
Mathos (DayZ) replied to Ashnik's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Short answer: No Long answer: If there is an unarmed player, I ask them if they would like a different spawn, if yes, boom headshot, no questions asked. If no, I direct them to the nearest common weapon spawn (such as a storage barn) in case they didn't know, and leave them alone after giving them some pasta and pepsi. -
The 1.7.7 update favorites
Mathos (DayZ) replied to Mathos (DayZ)'s topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
I do agree that removing weapon attachments prebuilt is a bit over the top, as everyone else so far, I too would like to just see them more rare, I do, however, love that you can do so much to your weapons now, making them a time-worthy investment to make a gun that is YOURS. -
Still need testers? It'd be a while since I've even looked at Skype! But I'd be willing to do it.

Winchester or Lee Enfield? [POLL]
Mathos (DayZ) replied to Dawn (DayZ)'s topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
I've never died using a Winchester. With Lee, I ended up trapped in an industrial shed trying to fight the endless horde swarming the door, as with every one I killed, I attracted 5, and my poor M1911 was empty. I couldn't reload fast enough or even fire fast enough to take them out before they overran me.
