There are other threads where people (including me) had their guns replaced with a Makarov. As I have said, I think that some of the devs wrongly think this is a hacked gun and are removing it from players' inventory. Oh well!

Recommendations for East Coast or UK Server Host?

Hi all. My clan is thinking of renting a server, preferably on the East Coast of the United States or in the UK (we have players in both North America and Europe). It would be quite helpful if anyone has any advice on providers to suggest based on personal experience. Thanks! -
I'm just wondering: I Know that the latest beta patches allow side chat/global chat to be disabled, but is it mandatory? Can servers enable it if they want to?

I found my GPS at Stary Sobor military tents. My NVGs and toolbox I found on a dead guy at NW airfield.

It's when someone is killed in the debug forest. It's considered an exploit.

Perhaps they are testing in-game to determine why the server is crashing? It hardly seems like a big deal if it is not constantly like that.

One of the Devs, Ander, posted that they were removing hacked weapons and replacing them with Makarovs. The same thing with the L85 disappearing happened to me. It was replaced with a Makarov. Apparently, sorry! I had one in my backpack, but when I spawned yesterday, it was gone.... and there was a Makarov in its place! Oh the horror.

Without global chat, we have trouble knowing whether people are hacking... For example, I was just on a server where ~20 people died in the course of 5 minutes. Then my friend died. We had no idea of knowing how these people were dying, but it seems likely it was due to hacking. -

The L85 is still in the game and has a thermal scope. I should know because I just found one the other day :-)

The game DOES allow you to use SD STANAG magazines in a non-sd weapon. But it is no different sound-wise than using normal STANAG.

Just be glad you don't have to worry about spawning in the ocean while wearing camo.
