That bug only fixes duping objects like gas cans and wheels that you have to pick up and put in your primary inventory (apparently there's a delay between when you start picking it up and it ends up in your inventory). These guys have found some way to duplicate normal items, which is not addressed by that fix.

Psyl3nt seems to have gotten quite an incorrect impression about this company. Anyway, I've had to ask Lee 4 questions since I got our server setup last week and they've all been answered, and any problems solved, in about 5 minutes. I've been quite happy, and I encourage anyone who is looking for a reliable server host to check these guys out. Personally, I couldn't be happier.

I wish that there were some way to know who kills whom. As far as I know, and I admin a server, servers don't even log who kills whom.

Why use a macro when you can use this?

I'm sorry that you've been having bad luck. I haven't had any bugs negatively affect me.

Hello. I'm just wondering how you know who it is who is disconnecting. I'm a relatively new server admin, and I would love to figure out how to know. Do you just look at the server log and correlate it with the time the person disconnects? Or is there some setting that will show you when people connect/disconnect?

Hello all. I was just wondering if the Factory is a hotspot, like the NW Airfield, but for industrial goods... My clan was attacked twice there last night by two different groups. Were we just abnormally unlucky?

Yeah. We admin that server. He killed 2 of our clan members. He had the zombie skin and a hatchet.... We peppered him with M4 rounds and MP5 rounds to no avail. Of course, this mod now prevents us from knowing who kills whom, so we have no way of knowing who it was...

I, too, want sidechat back... or at least a server option.

Are you talking about the incorrect DayZ version, or the incorrect ARMA 2 beta patch? I know my server enforces the correct ARMA 2 beta patch, but I don't know whether it forces DayZ.

Rocket said a week or two ago that it has not been fixed and is caused by some engine problem. For now he advises nervous people to avoid it. Just search through his posts and you'll find it. That said, it seems that people who play on servers with the latest beta patch aren't having problems.

I talked to my server provider. They said the HIVE is having problems.
