    Emotional death

yep, I like it. I think it should be actually disturbing. not gruesome, just disturbing.
  2. not sure about implementation challenges, but the idea rocks.

[SA] - Ammunition Types & Alternate Ammo

yeah, bean bag rounds are common... too much of a good thing here. maybe we get a start by having a 'container' relationship between ammo and mags. that way you can find just ammo and can refill partially used mags. joy here is that .556 or 9mm is used in various weapons and can be more useful overall w/ less ammo in game.. and yeah, having .357, 38spl and a .357 jhp all be useful with different stats would really add something for revolvers.

Poll: Remove Blood Bags From Mod

i'd like to see blood bags go, but only after there's a better mechanic to foster teamwork. right now, I think blood bags needing a friend to administer was probably one of the most successful ideas in this direction. not perfect and i'd love to see them go, but we need viable reasons to work together or it's just another FPS and may just as well be filled with instant heal 'medpacks'...

    [Standalone] Suggestion for humanity indicator

I think this is a cool idea, but doesn't pass muster on cost / benefit. mostly benefit. the point of bandit skins and humanity was to compel people to work together and give the 'bandit' style of play a cost. I think that, as a mechanic, we've seen humanity points and hero / bandit skins fail. I think not knowing who will shoot you in the face or axe you in the back is pure win and oh so real. ;) this is / was a survival sim, after all. so, since i'm sure everyone is dying to hear my good idea - let's call bandit skins / markings dead and think of new ways to compel and reward teamwork. my vote is for each survivor to have a 'previous life' such as 'auto mechanic' or 'butcher' or 'paramedic' giving them access to repair / butcher / blood bag skills. suddenly, you'll really want to group with people so that you can accomplish all those things everyone tries to do on their own right now. and any one of your friends may still shoot you in the face. especially if you're previous life was lawyer... I think some way for survivors to feed back on known 'bandits' and generate 'wanted posters' that keep them out of 'civilized' areas would be a nice touch too, but less useful than just getting people interested in working together.
