    Satchel Charges

They are listed as "PipeBomb" on loot tables, which is confusing. Also, they rarer than NVGs and single-use, so you don't see them a lot.

    An-2 Colt (Large Biplane)

Bumping epic idea. Fits the setting and the tech, while being far from overpowered. The hitpoint/engine thing is not much of a problem. Boats work that way and they are already in the mod. The only thing this would require is a nerf of off-map camps, or they would make out-of-map hoarders' life too easy.

    Pending Update: Build 1.7.2

Location reset yes but to the coast no much better if it was to some wilderness locale that way new spawns on the coast wont get killed by a relocated weapon equipped player If a new spawn gets killed, they can just respawn, no harm done. But the thought of a fully geared server hopper getting killed by a new spawn with a double barrel shotgun...

  5. Risk? It's a game dofus. Thanks' date=' I hadn't noticed that. So I guess I can stop stockpiling beans under my bed now? Wow, that's about the most boring PVP I can think of. About as fun as flipping a coin. The very best PVP is not like that. It's the small group who uses better tactics to beat a larger group. It's knowingly running into an ambush with an ace up your sleeve, then turning the tables on them. It's about getting forced into a fight then barely making it out. That's the kind of PVP that makes you leave the computer shaking with adrenaline. And it's completely impossible to get it in a game where you can just instantly respawn with all the gear you need. Because who cares about all that if there's no consequence to winning or losing?
  6. Yes, but that's a cheat (which needs fixing). If we are going to take cheats into account when arguing game balance, we are going to be here forever. If you play the game properly, without disconnecting every time you are in danger, PVP is quite risky.
  7. First' date=' get an online map (http://dayzdb.com/map is a good one). Then: 1) Navigate by landmarks. Follow the roads (but not on the road itself), power lines, and hillsides. 2) During the day, use the sun. It's in the east in the morning, the south at noon, and the west during the afternoon. Shadows always point away from it. Servers usually state their timezone in the description. 3) During the night, you have the stars. Find the north star and orient yourself. 4) As a last resort, I'm told the clouds always move east. Pressing W works for me. Sodas are plentiful in barns and sheds along the way. In those, you can also find a refillable water bottle. Then you just need a pond.

    Remove Barbedwire

The thing is, they don't despawn AT ALL. I put one up as a test near camp, inmediately disassembled it. Now it comes back every time the server resets. So it just keeps piling up no matter what people do.
  9. The problem is not people changing servers occasionally, but people changing servers a lot. Solution: if you log on to two different servers too quickly (say within 15 minutes now, more once servers become more stable), your location gets reset and you spawn on the beach.
  10. Will tents be removed from inventories/vehicles too?

    From an Eve-Online Player...

    Fixed that for you.
  12. NO. Unrealistic and hinders stealth tactics.
  13. Because trusting pacifists always own guns and paranoids who would shoot on sight never do?
  14. YES. Guns are common anyway. But add the watch to starting equipment as a navigation help to get off the coast.

    Banned from US 6 Portland

The reboot was perfect. I took the screenshot as a precaution because it happened shortly after a friend got killed inside a big camp in the server. But the server came back up no problem. Still, we saw you guys disconnect and come back on several times during a firefight one or two days before that.
